I bought the Triumph Speed Triple R in October 2014 from the dealer and I paid $16,500 for it new, I went with the R because it comes with the Öhlins NIX30 forks and the TTX36 shock and Brembo’s monobloc four-piston calipers with ABS. The R also upgrades to Otto Fuchs forged wheels that weigh feather light at 3.82kg and the R also has some sexy looking carbon fiber bits that the standard speed triple is lacking. To take the bike to the next level I then added the project SC custom exhaust and an Evotech license plate kit and Rizoma turn signals front and rear and rear view mirror extensions so you're not just looking at your shoulders in the rear views. My total investment in the setup new was over $18,450 and the bike only has 2950 mi on it. This bike has been pampered and only stored in the garage.
