Just a few short years ago a cruiser with the sheer performance of the Rocket III would have been an impossible daydream, an engineer's 'what if. . . The Rocket III is a whirling, mechanized cyclone of power. Its three fuel-injected cylinders displace a monstrous 2,294cc and pump out 147lb-ft of torque. That amazing output is fed to the giant 240-section rear tire via a five-speed gearbox and shaft drive, while the massively strong steel frame, upside-down forks and Daytona 955i spec four-piston brake calipers elementally contain the Rocket III's potential. But the Rocket III is in possession of fine balance. Of course it demands respect on all levels but it remains a truly useable machine, and will tour highways, cruise streets and hustle turns with effortless ability. The Rocket III may be the largest capacity production motorcycle in the world but it's designed to be ridden. True individuality is rare and the Rocket III has forever defined a complete generation of motorcycles. Everything about it is special. Its muscular performance, stunning looks, attention to detail and monumental presence are simply unique. Which means the Rocket III isn't just a special motorcycle. It's a truly an extraordinary one.

2015 Triumph Rocket III Roadster ABS, 2014 Triumph Rocket III Roadster ABS With the world s biggest production motorcycle engine the latest Rocket III Roadster builds on the huge performance of the original Rocket III but now with even more torque. The 2.3 litre, three-cylinder engine is designed to be an arm-wrenching thrill to ride, yet easy and unintimidating too, despite its thunderous roar. Its sweet handling chassis, rigid frame and sophisticated suspension gives you the confidence to sweep through corners and change direction with an agility that belies this Roadsters size. The latest Rocket III features blackened components including radiator cowls, rear mudguard rails, airbox cover, fork protectors, and mirrors giving our Roadster an even more menacing look. There's nothing else like it out there, not to look at, nor to ride. Standard Features May Include: Engine The capacity of the Rocket III Roadster is huge, 2,294cc, and with a gut churning 221Nm at just 2,750rpm it has more torque at idle than most superbikes at full chat! The latest engine is unrestricted thereby delivering its full strength in the first three gears giving it almighty punch. The three big cylinders are arranged lengthways along the bike to keep it manageably narrow and align the crankshaft with the shaft final drive, but to tame the reaction of the massive torque, the crankshaft counter-rotates so the bike stays steady when the throttle s blipped. Shaft Drive With a shaft drive that needs no maintenance outside the scheduled service intervals, you have a roadster that s so reliable, durable and engaging that you could even go touring on it. Frame We developed the big, tubular steel twin spine design to be strong and rigid enough to contain this powerhouse of a motor. But we focused on giving you an improbable level of agility too. Suspension We gave the front end sports-bike-style upside down forks 43mm in diameter so they re strong enough to cope with all the forces a bike like this can deal out, yet with sophisticated internals so you get a plush, controlled ride. Wheels and Tires The rear wheel diameter on the Rocket III is 16 inches to emphasise the fatness of the back tire but to give you a more agile bike too. Brakes A bike like this needs a pair of vice-like, four-piston callipers. Gripping the 320mm discs and backed up by our advanced ABS system and a huge 316mm disc at the rear. Handling What our design and testing teams have managed to achieve is a massive bike with genuine handling prowess. Giving you low speed balance and beautifully neutral steering so when you re faced with a twisty road you can be filled with anticipation and confidence. Riding Position

2015 Triumph Rocket III Touring ABS Two-tone, 2014 Triumph Rocket III Roadster ABS No touring bike has more effortless torque than the Rocket III Touring, with more at idle than most touring bikes can muster at their best. Our head-turning 2.3 litre, three-cylinder engine is built for long hauls, heavy loads and going places in style. The world s biggest production motorcycle engine, it gives you everything from comfort to performance to street presence, yet is as light and engaging to handle alone or with two people on board. Standard Features May Include: Engine In a different state of tune to the Rocket III Roadster for even more useable torque, lower down the rev range, for a better touring ride. 106PS at 6000rpm and a torque of 203Nm to be precise. A ride like no other bike, with smooth and powerful yet unintimidating acceleration with any load and on any incline. You ll find the Rocket III Touring is a gentle giant with its 2.3 litre, three cylinder engine that is powerful and flexible enough to reward your riding style. The classic looks of the Rocket III Touring are backed up by plenty of modern technology. Massive cylinders and crankcases hide double overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder and the latest materials and engine design ideas. Fuelling is taken care of by state-of-the-art electronic fuel injection with twin butterflies per cylinder for smooth, predictable throttle control. Shaft Drive One of the main reasons that the engine cylinders are aligned along the length of the bike is so that they can better link up with the Rocket III Touring s final shaft drive. This means you get a bike that s lighter and capable of handling such huge levels of torque. Frame We ve achieved exceptional strength and stiffness from a steel twin spine frame that includes the engine as an integral component. It s what makes the Rocket III Touring such an agile and engaging big bike to ride. Suspension Designed for long distance comfort. Chromed twin rear shocks and funky forks with chromed shrouds aren t there just to look pretty, they contain sophisticated damping components that give you outstanding wheel control in low urban speeds or enthusiastic cornering. The rear preload is five-way adjustable and ready for any load you need to carry. Brakes We had to give a bike with such big personality and performance a pair of four-piston calipers up front on large diameter 320mm discs. And a big 316mm disc at the rear so that you have exceptional control as well as feel and feedback. Wheels and Tires We fitted small diameter 16 inch wheels and a restrained 180 section rear tire to the Rocket III Touring. Adding to your agility and fluidity. Seat Height We wanted a wide ran
