The Rocket III has carved a unique niche in the clone-like cruiser market and existsin a class all its own with its striking looks, stunning performance and incrediblespecification. But while it may be the largest capacity production motorcycle in theworld it’s designed first and foremost to be ridden. Good lock-to-lock movement, seamless fuel-injection and a low center of gravity combine to make low speedmaneuvering surprisingly easy, while the steering geometry and overall length give asecurely planted and confident feel. Added to this is generous ground clearance, making the Rocket III a truly useable machine that will tour highways, cruise streetsand hustle turns with effortless ability. The Rocket III is not only the world’s largest capacity production motorcycle; it’s also a bike without equal. Its unique, fuel-injected, triple cylinder engine has a cubiccapacity of 2,294 cc – that’s 140 cubic inches – and uses massive, 101.6 mmdiameter pistons. It makes 147 ft.lbs. of torque at 2,750 rpm. This incredible outputmeans even two-up the Rocket III accelerates incredibly hard without obvious effort, and relentless forward motion is just a slight twist of throttle away.Twin butterfly valves for each throttle body are used to give precise control over the engine and this set-up allows the ECU (Electronic Control Unit) to vary the mixture flow and ignition map dependent on gear selected and road speed. The torque curve is thus tailored specifically for each gear ratio. And the result is impressive – over 90 percent of the engine’s prodigious torque output is available at just 2,000 rpm, giving incredible levels of flexibility and making the five-speed gearbox (nearly) redundant. New for 2006 is the black finished engine. The Rocket III’s chassis, as you’d expect is something quite special. It centers on alarge tubular steel twin-spine frame, which houses the motor while maintenance-freeshaft drive lays power to the massive 240/50-section rear tire. The front brakes aresports bike specification – twin four-piston calipers mated with 320 mm floating discs– and provide awesome stopping power. The rear brake, developed by Bremboespecially, is a single twin caliper and 316 mm disc. The 43 mm upside down forks and twin rear shocks, built specifically for the RocketIII, add composure and supple compliance. This and the relaxed, comfortableergonomics allow the rider to take full advantage of the extended range provided bythe fuel-efficient engine and huge 6.3 gal US making the Rocket III a perfect tool forthose long, high-mileage days in the saddle. The ability to personalize the Rocket III was integral to the design philosophy and asthe bike went through its prototype stages so did the myriad of factory-approvedparts design

There's no pretense with this motorbike. What you see is what you get. It's look is muscular and stripped for action. Twin headlights up front. Black-finished three-cylinder engine. Flat handlebars. And a seriously bad attitude. The Speed Triple is the perfect example of sport motorcycling at its most raw and basic. Its heart is Triumph's legendary 955cc, 12-valve fuel-injected engine, kicking out a fiery 108bhp, and tuned for arm-wrenching torque. The motor is bolted to a rigid tubular aluminium frame that also holds top-quality suspension and a state-of-the-art single-sided swing-arm.It's easy to understand why the Speed Triple is worldwide one of the most popular models in Triumph's range. It offers pure, unadulterated performance, with a combination of thrilling acceleration, agile handling and superbly powerful brakes.Complementing the bike's aggressive shape this year are two new colors: Neon Blue and Nuclear Red. Both are bold, vivid, almost shocking. Just like the sensational Speed Triple itself.

You don't see a fairing with a radio on many of these.  This is a rare and clean bike!   Rocket III Touring Makes short work of the long haul. In style. When designing a new long distance touring motorcycle, an engine capable of effortlessly devouring the miles is without doubt the best place to start. You could say our designers had an unfair advantage with the unique and highly acclaimed Rocket III 2,300 cubic centimeter power plant at their disposal. However the engine, which is specially tuned for low down torque, and the same high specification braking system from the original Rocket III are the only major engineering elements carried over. Everything else is new. The Rocket III Touring is purposely designed and built to make it a great Custom Touring motorcycle. Suspension tuned to achieve high levels of comfort without compromising control, together with 180 millimeter rear tire and 16 inch wheels make lighter handling. Wide sumptuous seat for both rider and passenger, footboards front and rear, color matched waterproof hard cases and shrouded front forks with polished lower castings provide more comfort, practicality and style. It’s all new from the rider’s point of view too with new tank mounted instruments, a quick detach screen, switchgear and rider controls including a new heel and toe gear shift. All together it’s a machine that really does have the power to move you, your pillion and whatever you want to take, no matter how far you want to go.
