More power, lighter weight, and easier to ride, our engineers ambition was simple: to create the most perfectly balanced motorcycle. An equal blend of torque, responsiveness, agility, poise and purpose. The result is a bike with class-defining power, performance and handling. A bike that will inspire total confidence. And looks every bit as good. The engine is brand new featuring twin injectors per cylinder, titanium valves, a 14,400 red line, and a spine tingling induction roar. It's faster on the track, better on the road and even more satisfying to own. Features May Include: Internals (injectors, valves) With twin injectors per cylinder the new Daytona can draw more fuel quicker when you open the throttle fully and demand more from the engine. A first for a production Triumph, we have now fitted substantially lighter titanium valves to cope better with the higher revs. This also means lighter valve springs can be used, reducing valve train wear and friction. Performance We built the new Daytona engine with a shorter stroke allowing us to set a 500rpm higher rev ceiling at 14,400 and we increased power to 128PS and maximum torque to 75Nm. The cylinder block is now cast separately from the upper crankcase to cope with higher pressures, more torque and more power. Sound We enlarged the through-airflow headstock so that the intake mouth is positioned in the highest pressure zone centrally at the front of the bike. Improving flow efficiency, so that air passes in a straight line through the centre of the headstock to the airbox. Suspension Front and rear KYB suspension is, of course, fully adjustable. Both front and rear suspension have the added advantage of separate low- and high-speed compression damping adjustment, making the Daytona as forgiving on the road as it is focused on the track. Wheels and Tyres Something as simple as reducing the weight of the wheels can have a dramatic effect on handling. Lighter wheels reduce unsprung mass and minimize the gyroscopic effect of a spinning wheel. This makes it easier to turn the bike in and hold a line through the corner. We ve put race-derived Pirelli SuperCorsa tyres on to give you the grip to match the potential lean angles. Front Forks The new Daytona 675 is fitted with new, state-of-the-art KYB centre-fixed cartridge forks that use an internal damping cartridge which is rigidly located at both ends, rather than floating at one end as in conventional designs. Because it's supported by thinner walls, it has more room for the damping piston, so a larger diameter one can be used, improving damping accuracy. But we made the Tiger Explorer for every rider that wants rugged dependability, long distance comfort, a powerful and torquey engine with an extended fuel range, fine handling and the ability to cope with unmade roads. And we didn t stop there. We added high levels of sophisticated equipment, including ABS, traction control and cruise control along with the special character that comes with a Triumph three cylinder engine, and handling so natural and easy the bike is just as much at home in town as on the tundra. Features May Include: PERFORMANCE LWe gave the Explorer a 1215cc three-cylinder engine. DOUBLE OVERHEAD CAMS Double overhead camshafts operate the four valves per cylinder for an engine that does what it was made to do even when the bike is fully loaded with rider, passenger, a full complement of luggage and facing a steep mountain climb. SHAFT DRIVE We designed a rugged transmission comprising of a strong six-speed gearbox and an exceptionally tough shaft final drive. This gives you smooth power delivery yet is capable of dealing with the shocks and knocks it can face off-road. And, it hardly needs any maintenance, so you can get on with your ride without worrying about it. FRAME We built the tubular steel frame of the Tiger Explorer in the same style as other Triumphs. But it's made extra tough to deal with the stresses of off-road riding and on the road too, where you can load the Tiger Explorer heavily and still ride at high speeds or on badly maintained back roads in full control and comfort. SUSPENSION The suspension on the Tiger Explorer is built to cope with any kind of riding condition. We used tough 46mm forks at the front with an extended 190mm of travel, ideal for rough roads and long distance comfort. And at the rear, the single shock provides 194mm of travel and features a hydraulic remote preload adjuster and adjustable rebound damping. And that s saying something. The bodywork is new too. Colours appear as sharp slashes down the length of the bike from the slender tail section to the lean-looking tank, narrow radiator side cover and the front mudguard. Neatly finished by the striking new wheel design. You ll find yourself using the Street Triple for anything from track days to traffic busting. We ve created a machine that can turn the dullest regular commute into pleasure trip. Features May Include: Performance As always, the torque curve on the Street Triple is generous from low revs to high. Staying above 43lb.ft from 3,000rpm right up to 12,500rpm so you can pull hard and instantly whatever the rev counter is showing. Configuration The gearbox in the Street Triple has a taller first gear than before, taking advantage of the engine's depth of torque for smoother urban riding. And being a Triumph, it s a cruiser that also gives you day-long comfort, practicality, character and, on top of all that, superb handling. There s no compromise here. Standard Features May Include: Chassis The Thunderbird Commander is bold all over. We took the engine s dominant styling and continued the theme across the entire bike with the quality and level of detailing you d only expect from a Triumph cruiser. A massive polished top yoke and polished stainless steel fork shrouds, signature Triumph twin headlamps, bespoke Commander badges and Art Deco LED tail light and rear indicator assembly all combine for a powerful, low, lean, sleek custom cruiser look. Engine This is the largest capacity parallel twin motorcycle engine in the world. Based on the original Thunderbird parallel twin, the beating heart of the new Commander generates an organic, torque-rich riding experience unmatched for sheer grunt and ease-of-use. Configuration Being a Triumph, the Thunderbird Commander is packed full of modern engineering. We added double overhead camshafts and a crankshaft with 270 degree firing intervals, to give you an engine with authentic cruiser character. Whilst the fuelling is looked after by a sequential fuel injection system and progressive throttle linkage so your engine delivers its torque exactly the way you expect. Belt Drive We gave the Commander a belt final drive for low maintenance and long life. Performance Powered by a pair of saucer-sized forged pistons, the 1699cc eight-valve, DOHC engine s uneven 270° firing interval and long-stroke design produces a potent 94PS (93bhp) at 5400rpm and a huge 151Nm (111 lb.ft) of torque at a lowly 3550rpm, giving the Commander bags of twin-cylinder character. Transmission Developed and refined by our engineers so that the Commander gives you performance through a seamless, snatch-free transmission. Chassis There s no handling compromise when you choose a Triumph cruiser, and the Thunderbird Commander is no exception. Engineered to be responsive, agile and deceptively easy to turn, even at low speeds, the Commander marries tuned geometry with a low centre of gravity to make it steer as beautifully as it looks.
