This is a brand new, never started, Silver Jubilee Limited Edition model (T140VJ) - possibly the only one in this condition in the USA. The motorcycle that made history. In 1977 Triumph of Great Britain celebrated the Silver Jubilee of her Majesty the Queen of England with 1,000 of these machines imported into the USA. This was Triumphs way of honoring the Silver Jubilee celebrations. Each Jubilee was hand crafted in a striking combination of silver and chrome accented with red, white and blue striping. A most distinctive seat in blue complemented the styling. Certainly a motorcycle like no other on the road. Specially designed commemorative badges are mounted on the tank and side panels with each buyer receiving his own personal certificate of ownership. This bike comes with the original framed certificate of ownership (#706) and a framed original brochure from the dealer. This is a matching numbers bike, will be the ultimate collectors prize and will surely only increase in value as it reaches its half century. Everything on this bike is original - it even has the original instructions on how to fill the battery with acid!
