Its 675cc three-cylinder engine bubbles, growls and wails as you wind it up through the gears and, thanks to an all-new chassis, the handling is now even sharper and more intuitive than it's ever been. And that s saying something. The bodywork is new too. Colours appear as sharp slashes down the length of the bike from the slender tail section to the lean-looking tank, narrow radiator side cover and the front mudguard. Neatly finished by the striking new wheel design. You ll find yourself using the Street Triple for anything from track days to traffic busting. We ve created a machine that can turn the dullest regular commute into pleasure trip. Features May Include: Performance As always, the torque curve on the Street Triple is generous from low revs to high. Staying above 43lb.ft from 3,000rpm right up to 12,500rpm so you can pull hard and instantly whatever the rev counter is showing. Configuration The gearbox in the Street Triple has a taller first gear than before, taking advantage of the engine's depth of torque for smoother urban riding. And to keep it smooth through the gears we've fitted a gear-driven balance shaft, so your focus on long stints at high speeds isn t interrupted by vibration. Exhaust The most obvious update is the new exhaust. Now tucked tight beneath the engine it gives the tail end a lean, more modern look and lowers the centre of gravity for even better handling. Sound The sound is now even better than before with the new intake path through the frame turning up volume, giving the Street Triple an even snarlier, more engaging sound than ever. Frame The aluminium twin spar frame's styling is familiar but it's a new design. Routing the intake duct right through the headstock for the best efficiency. 2015 Triumph Daytona 675 ABS, 2015 Triumph Daytona 675 ABS Apex after apex the new Daytona 675 inspires complete confidence. More power, lighter weight, and easier to ride, our engineers ambition was simple: to create the most perfectly balanced motorcycle. An equal blend of torque, responsiveness, agility, poise and purpose. The result is a bike with class-defining power, performance and handling. A bike that will inspire total confidence. And looks every bit as good. The engine is brand new featuring twin injectors per cylinder, titanium valves, a 14,400 red line, and a spine tingling induction roar. It's faster on the track, better on the road and even more satisfying to own. Features May Include: Internals (injectors, valves) With twin injectors per cylinder the new Daytona can draw more fuel quicker when you open the throttle fully and demand more from the engine. A first for a production Triumph, we have now fitted substantially lighter titanium valves to cope better with the higher revs. This also means lighter valve springs can be used, reducing valve train wear and friction. Performance We built the new Daytona engine with a shorter stroke allowing us to set a 500rpm higher rev ceiling at 14,400 and we increased power to 128PS and maximum torque to 75Nm. The cylinder block is now cast separately from the upper crankcase to cope with higher pressures, more torque and more power. Sound We enlarged the through-airflow headstock so that the intake mouth is positioned in the highest pressure zone centrally at the front of the bike. Improving flow efficiency, so that air passes in a straight line through the centre of the headstock to the airbox. Suspension Front and rear KYB suspension is, of course, fully adjustable. Both front and rear suspension have the added advantage of separate low- and high-speed compression damping adjustment, making the Daytona as forgiving on the road as it is focused on the track. Wheels and Tyres Something as simple as reducing the weight of the wheels can have a dramatic effect on handling. Lighter wheels reduce unsprung mass and minimize the gyroscopic effect of a spinning wheel. This makes it easier to turn the bike in and hold a line through the corner. We ve put race-derived Pirelli SuperCorsa tyres on to give you the grip to match the potential lean angles. Front Forks The new Daytona 675 is fitted with new, state-of-the-art KYB centre-fixed cartridge forks that use an internal damping cartridge which is rigidly located at both ends, rather than floating at one end as in conventional designs. Because it's supported by thinner walls, it has more room for the damping piston, so a larger diameter one can be used, improving damping accuracy. Still distinctly a Bonneville with its smooth pulling, fuel injected 865cc parallel twin. We ve added some visual tweaks like twin peashooter exhausts, chrome engine covers, black instrument surround with tacho, a Triumph logo on the seat, two-tone paint, spoked wheels and fork gaiters. So, it still looks, sounds and feels like a proper motorcycle should. And it still connects you to over 50 years of heritage but is built with everything that comes with modern engineering too. Features May Include: Bodywork Two tone paint work complete with hand painted coach lines adorn the T100. Engine The iconic, air-cooled parallel twin sits proudly at the heart of the Bonneville T100. Setting the style for the entire bike. Exhaust Twin peashooter exhaust pipes give this bike extra 60s style. Wheels Classic spoke wheels for great looks and easy handling. So there s enough performance to be fun for experienced riders but not so much that will intimidate riders with fewer miles behind them. Configuration A pair of cylinders still stand upright and proud at the heart of the Bonneville T100. With a wide bore and short stroke that adds up to 865cc for high levels of efficiency and low wear, with four valves per cylinder for the best breathing and power. There are balance shafts tucked away inside the crankcase so you ll notice very little vibration for a parallel twin and, being air cooled, there s no radiator to spoil the view. Frame All of our extensive chassis experience and technology has gone into the Bonneville T100 s simple tubular steel construction. Providing easy, neutral steering and exceptional balance even at low speeds. Suspension Looking good whilst working hard isn t easy. But the 1960s style twin shocks fitted at the back come with a chrome finish and modern damping internals. As do the traditional-looking forks. But like any Triumph it's highly practical too, and perfectly feasible as an everyday commuter. A long, low, fat-tyred, chromed up, everyday commuter. Standard Features May Include: Bodywork We made sure that the Thunderbird's authentic classic style lives on. With a long, low stance, fat rear tyre, teardrop tank and high bars. By keeping it pure, uncluttered, clean and elegant, with plenty of chrome, it still looks exactly how a cruiser should look. Instruments The instruments are set into a tank-mounted chromed pod, leaving the top yoke area lean to show off the array of polished aluminium and chrome, so it looks as great to you as it does to the people watching it pass by. Engine The Thunderbird s 1597cc parallel twin engine kicks out a muscular 86PS and a thumping 146Nm of torque at just 2750rpm. Configuration Full of modern engineering, we added double overhead camshafts and a crankshaft with 270 degree firing intervals, to give you an engine with authentic cruiser character. Whilst the fuelling is looked after by a sequential fuel injection system and progressive throttle linkage which ensures the engine delivers its torque exactly the way you expect. 6 Speed Gearbox The transmission uses a six-speed gearbox with a tall top ratio for relaxed highway cruising and exceptional fuel efficiency. Belt Drive We ve incorporated high tech materials in the belt and pulleys so you get a drive with an exceptionally long life even compared with other modern bikes. This is the Thunderbird Storm, the same great chassis as the award-winning Thunderbird, with more power as standard and a harder edged and more distinctive look. With the award-winning Thunderbird as its base, it s no surprise that the Storm comes highly specified as standard. The edgy, stripped down, styling is complemented perfectly by the iconic twin headlights, made famous on Triumph s legendary Rocket III and Speed Triple models, give the Thunderbird Storm a street rod look straight from the box. And while the look may be pared back, the spec sheet certainly isn t. With a 1700cc parallel-twin at its heart the Thunderbird Storm is a power cruiser that packs a mighty punch. The tank mounted speedo includes a small built in tacho and on-board computer which includes clock, two trip meters and a fuel gauge. The low maintenance belt drive system delivers the torque smoothly and cleanly, while the cycle parts ooze class and quality. Anti-lock brakes are also an option for the Thunderbird Storm, offering extra security and safety to the rider and passenger.
