2015 Triumph Thruxton Standard, 2015 Triumph Thruxton The Thruxton is born of the café racer culture that dominated motorcycling in the 1960s.Back then, British twins, usually Bonneville engines, were used to form the basis of home built bikes. Used to race from one café to another, they featured extensive modifications such as dropped bars, single seats and upswept exhausts. To this day, we ve kept many of these styling cues for the modern Thruxton. Named after the high speed British circuit where Triumph enjoyed great success in production racing, it follows in the tyre tracks of the legendary 1960s Thruxton T120R.And just like those café racers of the 60s, the modern Thruxton is Bonneville based but nowadays, our engineers have made sure it rides like a modern Triumph twin. So it s dependable enough for everyday use, easy and fun to ride yet still evokes the classic café racer look. Features May Include: BodyworkWe created a style for the Thruxton that echoes the 1960s café racers. Back then, machines were modified by their owners for higher speeds and sharper handling. We used classic 1960s paint schemes with period sports stripes and fitted a typical single-seat, or so it looks thanks to the rear cover. In actual fact a passenger can enjoy the ride on a Thruxton too.HandlebarsLow and narrow 'Ace' handlebars, named after London's famous Ace Café, with classic bar-end mirrors sit behind a colour-coded flyscreen.InstrumentsTwin instrument pods sitting high on their top yoke mounting position.EngineYou get the same iconic, air-cooled parallel twin that sits proudly at the heart of the Bonneville. Setting the 60s style for the entire bike. The engine and transmission has been engineered with the look of the classic Triumph twins in mind. Even the fuel injection has been moulded so you get the appearance of a pair of carburettors. And there are double overhead camshafts despite what looks like a pushrod tube at the front of the engine, just like the café racers of the 60s used to have.PerformanceThe café racers were built to perform, not just to look good.ConfigurationThe basic format is the same as the current Bonneville, with 360 degree firing intervals, double overhead cams, eight valves, twin balance shafts and fuel injection. So you know it's a thoroughly modern engine that, despite its convincing old-school looks, easily meeting Triumph s high standard of reliability, durability and efficiency.SoundIt's the sound and feel of the engine that matters, from the thumping thrust of the generous low rev torque to the eager high revs and the purring, even exhaust note. So distinctive to the parallel twin.FrameAll of our ext

2014 Triumph Scrambler Two-Tone, Contact Jacob for Special internet Pricing. 954-449-8243 2014 Triumph Scrambler Two-Tone In the 1960s, far from civilisation and regular roads, stripped down desert bikes based on Triumph twins and fitted with high level exhausts, dirt bike tyres and suspension were being used for hard recreational fun and competition on tough terrain. The Scrambler takes its inspiration from these very bikes. They were highly competitive and most famously were used by Hollywood superstar Steve McQueen for pleasure and in full competition. Including the 1964 International Six Day Trial (ISDT) in East Germany. We built the Scrambler to evoke that spirit of freedom and escape, carefree times when all you needed was a bike and somewhere to ride. Standard Features May Include: Styling Lean and basic, just as the originals were, the Scrambler reflects the look of 1960s Triumph twins, converted by their owners for off-road riding in deserts and open scrubland where the power of the engines could be used to the full. With its cut down mudguards and black engine finish, the Scrambler has a classic, rebellious style that is loved by so many riders. Engine For the Scrambler we retuned the 865cc eight-valve engine to give you more torque at very low revs. It peaks at a strong 68Nm at 4750rpm but keeps producing useful thrust much lower than that, with 90 per cent of its torque on tap from as low as 2500rpm. The power maximum is 59PS, enough for you to get up to all kinds of fun. Fuel Injection It even looks as if it comes with old-style carburettors, but we ve disguised the thoroughly modern fuel injection system, which along with the double overhead cams and contemporary internals makes this a highly fuel efficient, as well as engaging engine. Frame With the exhausts lifted high out of the way it's possible to see the traditional tubular steel, twin cradle frame in all its glory. Classically styled but strong enough to meet modern handling expectations. The engine is bolted in to lend its own stiffness to the frame which creates a ride that s light, predictable and completely engaging. Suspension The pair of chromed shocks we put at the back look classic on the outside but are modern inside. Giving you balanced and effective damping for comfort and controlled handling. And the front forks wear traditional rubber bellows to protect against dirt, while the stubby front mudguard is just like those you would have fitted in the 1960s. Brakes We matched the Scrambler's performance perfectly with a single front disc, providing progressive, confident stopping power without overwhelming you. Handling Built to be light and agile yet reassuringly stable when the going gets b

Adding subtle touches to the uncluttered Bonneville form, the T100 roadster wears a little extra to mark its connection with the classic speedster of the sixties. It also has extra bite, thanks to the full-blooded, 865 cc, parallel twin-cylinder engine that powers it. Delivering throaty performance – echoed by the mellow backbeat from its twin pea-shooter exhaust pipes – a bore and stroke of 90 x 68 mm, compression ratio of 9.2:1 and 360 degree firing interval add up to a responsive, punchy and soulful power unit. The T100’s chassis thrives on the extra power and torque available from the engine delivering secure road-holding, effortless steering and easy-going manners – as you’d expect of a motorcycle drawn from Bonneville stock. The tubular steel frame, 41 mm telescopic forks and chromed twin rear shocks easily cope with the extra performance the engine imparts, as do the powerful twin-piston calipers operating on the front and rear discs. All of the T100’s crisp coach lines are hand-applied and the new two-tone Jet Black with Tornado Red infill paint scheme provides a striking counterpoint to the vibrant White with Tangerine infill. Finishing the look are a tachometer, rubber knee grips and chromed engine covers. The Bonneville T100 is the very essence of urban style and underlines the enduring power of individual expression.
