I am selling this bike for my friend's wife. He was a Veteran with a dream. Sadly he died. His bike has become a small burden to her as well as a sad memory. This bike has been sitting for 4 years. It was started periodically for the first 3 years then it sat for 1 year. The bike is not running. It needs a person who knows about this kind of bike. We couldn't get it start this year. So, we rebuilt the carburetors, cleaned the gas tank and replaced any needed fuel lines. The spark plugs were dark colored but showed spark. But, we still couldn't get it to start. We didn't replaced the spark plugs. If you are a Triumph enthusiast, this is the bike for you. We are out of resources. So, the price is very fair. If it were running you would have to pay $3,000 to $3,500. An "As Is" bike would be around $1,500 to $2,000. With all the new parts and the condition the bike is in, we are asking $2,000. The tires, fairings, gas tank and touring bags are worth that price.The whole bike is in great condition. The tires are 1 year old with about 200 miles on them. The little rubber vent spews are still intact. The compression is strong in all four cylinders. He drove it about 1,800 miles but the bike has 24,773 miles total. There are some garage scratches but nothing someone couldn't buff out. The bike has missed the current registration. The pictures show the condition. If you have been looking for an easy project and have the knowledge, then here is your bike.
