This is a matching numbers '68 T120R Bonny with clear MI title in my name. Factory records confirm it was built 14-March 1968 and supplied to TriCor as East Coast model. It has undergone complete rebuild from the nasty hill climber to the show condition you now see it in.I tried to use as many original Triumph parts as possible during the restoration - Lucas parts say 'Lucas', Dunlop parts say 'Dunlop' etc. Most everything is rechromed except original tank badges, which are very nice but not perfect.Wheel rims are original but rechrome quality is not perfect in my opinion - little 'yellow' around the spoke nipples, but I am the only one to have noticed this so far.Tires are new (made in Japan), cables and gages are new from England (I picked them up myself). Seat pan and foam is original with new cover. Fasteners are CAD plated.I challenge the perfectionists out there to critique the quality of work and give me feedback !Honestly, local restorers that have seen it have all said it is a beautiful machine. Got it running late last year but then decided to have a bit of fun with it and modified it cosmetically into a '68 TT Special (that I know the factory never made). Some of the photos show it with added TT pipes, sidecover (with the 'TT Bonneville' graphic that never went into production), alloy twin pull throttle and folding footpegs. Now had my fun with it and want to move onto next project, so have converted it back to stock condition with new British pipes and silencers (round silencers not the tapered TOGA ones). Not ridden it on the road so for potential buyers wanting to seriously ride it you may need to make tuning adjustments. It is basically a 1-kick starter, mostly oil tight, motor runs 'cold-blooded' (I think it needs breaking in). Front brake drags slightly, but again needs everything to settle in.For me great garage art ... enjoy ... comments and questions welcome ... before restoration photo included at end ... Sale is based on buyer inspection at pickup and payment in cash only. I want you to see and be happy with bike as any sale will be final.
