Selling my Triumph Bonneville America (previous name of the current Triumph America Model). The bike is in perfect order never been to the ground and taken good care of. I bought it two years ago and now I'm selling due to relocation. It's a great bike with noble handling, ideal as a first bike (it actually was my first ride) but also has some punch for a fun ride. Selling it with saddlebags and windshield. Everything original Triumph parts. Contact for more info or to see it. More details about the bike: Condition: Used Year: 2002 Make: Triumph Model: Bonneville America Category: Cruiser Type: Motorcycle Location: Cambridge, MA Mileage: 13000 Primary Color: Mulberry Red Engine Size: 790 cc Engine Type: Air-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin, 270° firing interval With its wide bars, forward-set pegs and relaxed, parallel twin power the America mixes classic British engineering with style from the highways of the USA. Based around the iconic Bonneville the America builds on a fantastic package. The basic architecture of the America's 790 cc, twin-cylinder engine is as the Bonnie but a 270 degree firing interval -- rather than 360 degrees -- gives a loping exhaust note and mellow power delivery that's big on easy-going drive and heavy with character. Spinning a fat, 170/80-section rear tire (crowning a well-spoked 15-inch rim) through a five-speed gearbox the engine fires its heartbeat out through a pair of deep-chrome slash-cut mufflers. Heavy duty, wide-set telescopic forks add substance and a solid look to the America's raked front end, as does the 18-inch front wheel, shod with its 110/80 tire. Disc brakes matched to twin-piston calipers take care of the stopping duties. The America's a great place to embark upon a motorcycling career, but as a true cruising motorcycle it's also built to cover ground. Its relaxed riding position, with forward set 'highway' pegs, wide raked-back handlebars and low 28-inch seat height aids rider comfort and control, also makes the America extremely manageable in all situations -- especially for riders with limited experience. Even those with many miles under their belts, however will be impressed with the chassis' surefooted ability and confidence-inspiring handling. The America's also been made to be admired and from its slab-style top clamp to chromed shock absorbers it's the very essence of cruiser chic -- but with something a little different; a sense of style and heritage very much its own. This bike simply isn't like the clone-like mass of everyday cruisers. Centrally mounted above the teardrop-shaped 4.4-gallon fuel tank is a deep-chromed instrument console matching classic style Triumph tank badges. A white-faced, chrome-bezelled speedometer sits rakishly above the single headlight and with a nod to the past the passenger footrest hangers echo the lines of the trademark toolboxes of pre-war Triumphs.

The America is just made for the open road. It feels planted and rides easy. For 2007 the jet-black, parallel twin motor has been cranked up to 865 cc to give the bike more torque. And more torque means fewer gear changes - just what is needed for relaxed cruising. The riding position puts the rider at the center of the universe with a low, sofa of a seat that lets feet be planted firmly on the ground when coming to a stop. The pillion gets a exceptionally comfortable riding experience too with a roomy seat. Spinning a beefy, 170/80-section rear tire (crowning a new-for-2007 cast 15-inch rim) through a five-speed gearbox the engine fires its heartbeat out through a pair of deep-chrome reverse cone silencers. Heavy duty, wide set telescopic forks add substance and a solid look to the America’s raked front end, as does the new 18-inch cast front wheel, shod with its 110/90 tire. Disc brakes front and rear matched to twin-piston calipers take care of the stopping duties. Cruising is all about the essence of freedom and individuality and the America provides both. It’s also ready to further personalize, with the simple addition of luggage and extra chrome work. There are also entire custom painted body kits to mark out a personal identity. The need to ride and explore lies deep within the human soul. The open road beckons, waiting to be ridden and the America is a relaxed and enjoyable passport to two-wheeled freedom. Why not go along to your Triumph dealer and test ride your ticket to freedom?

2007 Triumph America , Hello all, I'm selling my 2007 Triumph America. It's been a great bike, and I will miss it, but it's time to part ways. I purchased this bike in 2011 from a small dealership. At the time it had about 900 miles on it. I am the second owner. Over the course of a few years I put just about 10k miles on it, about 1,000 of which were from two long trips. The bike is plenty nimble for buzzing around back roads, but is more than sturdy enough to handle long distance cruising speeds on the highway. I am including in the sale a number of other gear: Leather Bag 3 helmets - 1 full face, 2 skull caps Leather gloves Battery charger Two pairs of clear riding glasses There were after market exhaust pipes put on by the previous owner which give it a nice sound. There is a small dent in the gas tank (see photo). I have never dropped the bike. Please feel free to email me questions you may have. I'm far from a mechanic and to be honest I don't know all that much about motorcycles. This bike was very low maintenance, of which I am a big fan. Other than a couple of oil changes and a one time replacement of the rear brake pads, there wasn't much else it needed. Just fuel up and ride. I have the title in hand. It is clean. I am asking $3,500 or best reasonable offer. Cash only. Thanks. $3,500.00
