Selling my 1996 Suzuki RF900R. Motorcycle has 9600 miles. I am the 3rd owner. The second owner bought it from his friend back in August of 1998 with 4925 miles. I owned a new one of these back in 1994 and loved it, so when I saw this I had to have it. It had been garaged and under a cover, only driven a few miles the last several years. I bought it September 2016 with 8917 miles. I installed a new battery, new rear tire(dunlop sport max), new rear brake pads, oil change, brake fluid, clutch fluid, and spark plugs.I have driven it about 700 miles. It could drive across country if you wanted to. Starts right up and idles, but is cold blooded. Need to adjust the choke until it warms up, but remember this is a 21 year old carburerted motorcycle. Even when warm a bit sluggish up to about 3500 rpm, but after that runs hard and smooth. Idles fine at stop lights it won't stall on you, just trying to give a very accurate discription. I am sure it could use a good professional carb cleaning, I did not clean or even remove them. Front tire is good for a couple thousand miles maybe more, but I'm sure it is an older tire, it is a Continental, Tread looks pretty good no cracks. Paint on the tank looks and sparkles great, no rust in tank. A coulpe small scatches each lower fairing, and scratches on the rear side fairings in front of the seat.All lights and horn work, still has the tool kit under the seat.This still has the stock shield, exhaust and rear fender license plate mount. Not many like it is my guess. Looks awsome from 10 feet.This should still be a great motorcycle for someone. I just bought a new Kawasaki.

This Suzuki RF900 is in perfect mechanical condition!! It's one of the most comfortable sport bikes ever made!! This bike is a must ride! Come check it out!! The seat for the passenger is just as comfortable as the driver seat! Clean and clear title ready to go! A few upgrades... Vance and Hines pipe! Re-tuned and jetted to match!! Sounds awesome!! LED turn signals both front and rear! All service just performed in July, and still being Riden on weekends. 2 storage compartments built it one nest to the tank and one under the seat accessed with an easy key seat release! Tires are like new!! Brakes like new!! Just an awesome bike!! There are a couple of little scratches on the bike from being stored and bumped Come check it out you'll fall in love. Moved to Woodland from Louisiana. I have problems with my hands and back and can't ride her anymore. Small oil leak. d&D exhaust (shoots fire), titanium red powder coated rear sprocket. Throwing in the pit bull and spare rear tire and rim.

1996 Suzuki Rf 900, Great work, school and weekend cruising bike. Driven from Texas three or four years ago by previous owner so this bike is in great condition and comfortable for even longer rides. I've taken the bike down to Md. from Pa several times and can attest to the comfortable ride this bike offers for the rider and passenger. i mostly used the bike to get back and forth from school and work as the strong 937cc engine is quick for a heavier bike. the bike has been garage kept and aside from an oil change and lubrication is fully ready for riding season. Get everything that one of these lighter and often uncomfortable sport bikes offer in one package. The speed you need for around town and the comfort to ride all the way from Texas!!! 1994 Suzuki RF900, When the RF900 first appeared in showrooms, riders were immediately won over by it. It has a winning combination of flexible engine power, comfortable riding position, decent handling and capable braking. The 16-valve liquid-cooled engine produces its 125bhp in a very user-friendly manner, with a broad spread of power all the way through the rev range. The steel beam frame is used to give a sporting design, it is very stiff, it just plain works!! The braking from the four-piston front brake calipers is impressive, with strong, progressive action. The suspension is rather firm, it works well. Handling through twisty bends is impressive, with easy, neutral steering, good ground clearance and strong power instantly on tap to pull the rider through the bends. Used as a fast budget sports tourer, the RF900 will not disappoint. The large dual-seat unit provides comfortable accommodation for two, the wide fairing gives good weather- and wind-protection and the 4.6 gal. fuel tank easily gives 200 miles between refuelling stops at touring speeds. This one is in good condition for it's age. Each bike goes through rigorous inspection, cleaning and examination before we feel comfortable considering it a part of our inventory and available for sale.
