It was sitting since 2014, so to freshen it up, The carburetors where cleaned. New Spark plugs. Gas tank flushed and cleaned. New fuel lines. New battery. Bike holds an idle, it does smoke, Goes though the gears. The Tires look to have Good tread left. All of the electronics work as they should. Brakes work as they should. Looks to be complete. Overall is a nice looking rider. But obviously has wear for a 40 year plus old motorcycle. Most of the chrome does have pitting, but the chrome shines nicely. Pipes are solid. Tank has no rust. 1999 Suzuki Katana 600, I'm selling my bike because i just don't get out and ride it enough anymore. But it's fast, it's beautiful, and with the custom D&D tailpipe it sounds LOUD and MEAN. Angry even. It's seriously one of the best sounding bikes I've ever heard. It has EXTREMELY LOW MILES! Kelly Blue Book says that a bike like this should have on average around 37,600 miles. Mine has around 9,650! (Told you I didn't ride it enough). It has custom, High Intensity Headlamps. It's completely road-ready, and I just put a brand new battery in it, so it's good to go! Because I have no need for them anymore, in case anyone wants them, I'll also be including a couple of helmets, a battery charger for the winter months, and the owner's manual. One thing I do want to mention, is that it has some minor scuffs on the Katana logos on the sides. It's not very noticeable at least. Like, I don't think you can even tell in the pictures. What can i say, it was my first bike, I lost my balance once or twice and tipped it over. So did my friends when I let them try it out. Oh well. This is a perfect starter bike. It's really fast, but not so much that it would be suicidal to put a novice on it. Runs perfectly, and only a fraction of the cost of a new bike. I'm firm on the asking price.
