Selling my 1996 Suzuki RF900R. Motorcycle has 9600 miles. I am the 3rd owner. The second owner bought it from his friend back in August of 1998 with 4925 miles. I owned a new one of these back in 1994 and loved it, so when I saw this I had to have it. It had been garaged and under a cover, only driven a few miles the last several years. I bought it September 2016 with 8917 miles. I installed a new battery, new rear tire(dunlop sport max), new rear brake pads, oil change, brake fluid, clutch fluid, and spark plugs.I have driven it about 700 miles. It could drive across country if you wanted to. Starts right up and idles, but is cold blooded. Need to adjust the choke until it warms up, but remember this is a 21 year old carburerted motorcycle. Even when warm a bit sluggish up to about 3500 rpm, but after that runs hard and smooth. Idles fine at stop lights it won't stall on you, just trying to give a very accurate discription. I am sure it could use a good professional carb cleaning, I did not clean or even remove them. Front tire is good for a couple thousand miles maybe more, but I'm sure it is an older tire, it is a Continental, Tread looks pretty good no cracks. Paint on the tank looks and sparkles great, no rust in tank. A coulpe small scatches each lower fairing, and scratches on the rear side fairings in front of the seat.All lights and horn work, still has the tool kit under the seat.This still has the stock shield, exhaust and rear fender license plate mount. Not many like it is my guess. Looks awsome from 10 feet.This should still be a great motorcycle for someone. I just bought a new Kawasaki.

1721 miles, 164 hours. Fuel injected, 4x4 with diff-lock. Stock except Twin Air air filter, aftermarket wheels & ITP Mud Lite tires w/ 90% tread. Tires are stock size. New OEM drive belt last fall & valve clearance checked by dealership this past spring. Runs great & everything works but fuel gauge-I have part needed to fix that. Plastic is in good shape.
