The 2007 RM-Z250 is all new from the ground up and it is 100 percent Suzuki. The RM-Z250 features a compact, lightweight and powerful 250 cc four-stroke engine design, a strong and lightweight aluminum chassis, Showa suspension components and many high-performance features for the ultimate 250 cc four-stroke racing machine. The RM-Z250 engine is based around an over-square bore x stroke design, with liquid-cooling, titanium valves and double overhead billet cams. The engine is housed by a lightweight, twin-spar aluminum-alloy frame combining aluminum forgings, extrusions and stampings welded into a single unit. The whole package is supported by a Showa inverted, twin-chamber, cartridge fork and Showa remote reservoir rear shock. The RM-Z250 features a unique aluminum rear swingarm built using hydro-formed, thick-wall tapered arms welded to a cast linkage bracket and forged axle holders. It started at racetracks far from Suzuki's Hamamatsu, Japan headquarters. A group of dedicated Suzuki engineers on an overseas fact-finding mission wandered through paddocks and spectator parking lots, looking at motorcycles and watching races.The racers at these events didn't have factory contracts, and were not paid to race. Very well maintained green sticker two stroke. New cylinder installed three years ago. Top end last rebuilt a year ago (Weisco). Carburator last rebuilt a year ago. Front and rear tires (Dunlop), sprockets and chain (Renthal) all have 4 trips on them. FMF Fatty pipe with Turbine Core 2 (USFS approved) scilencer. Boyesen rad valve. Aluminum skid plate. Suspension has 6 trips since last rebuild.

Up for sale is my ready to ride 1979 Suzuki GS750L. I am asking $2500 or willing to trade sportster . It has an in line 4 cylinder 750 engine that is running great and is a blast on the street. Dual disk brakes up front give this bike a huge stopping advantage over many classic / vintage bikes! There are several upgrades listed below. I am only selling because I work more with Harley Davisdon bikes and I want a harley that I can use at work. Low milage (21,900) because previous owner didn't ride it much, and I have a short commute to work 1-2 times a week on the bike. Here are some of the upgrades that have been done to the bike. - New Progressive Suspension fork springs and rear shock with adjustable preload. - Like new tires with only a couple hundred miles on them - Chain replaced about a year ago with only a couple hundred miles on it. - Rebuilt carbs tuned by local certified Suzuki mechanic - New LED rear run/brake lights and mini turn signals - 2up Burly Brand Brat seat from an early sportster model, fabricated custom mount for this bike. - High output Spot LED auxiliary lighting ( they really light up the road and mike you very visible at night! ) - Mini Side cover bags, both sides ( holds and organizes tool kit, paper work, and misc small items SEE PIC ) I have several extra parts, rear fender, headlight, original side covers, and a few other misc parts. I also have a work in progress rear seat cover / cowl that could be finished to give the bike a single seat cafe look, but still give the option of a secondary seat.
