Hello! I'm selling my 2008 GSXR 1000. I'm the 2nd owner and have always garaged it. This bike is in great shape and runs beautifully. It's crazy fun to ride on the backroads of California. It has not been a track bike under my ownership. (Not sure what original owner did). As far as sportbikes go, this bike is a great fit for tall people. I am 6 ft and I find it very comfortable to ride. Minimal hunching over, and adjustable rear sets. - Stock except the exhaust (Jardine shorty's. Stock exhaust is available). - Heated handgrips.- Bridgestone Hypersport tires in great shape.- Dynojet Power Commander.- New battery (February 2017).- Valve adjustment (January 2015).- Current mileage at 25,500.- Regularly serviced at Santa Rosa Powersports, records available.- Clean title in hand, registered in California, good until next year.- Minor scratches on the tank & upper ferrings, which is common territory with black paint, but it's a very, very clean bike and polishes out beautifully. - One minor indentation on the tank.- The paint is in great shape, no cracks. Slightly faded where seat and tank meet.- The seat is intact, no rips, stains, bulges. Looks new.- I have never crashed the bike, but it has been dropped (once while at a stop sign and once when leaving a stop and the rear tire hit gravel).I'm asking $6200. Very clean 2008 gsxr 1000 that runs beautifully! New battery, Jardine aftermarket exhaust, Heated handgrips, Dynojet Power Commander, Tires is good shape (the up-close tire picture are the current tires). Includes passenger seat/pegs & stock exhaust. Valve adjustment Jan. 2015, Clean title, registered CA. Regularly serviced with all records. 2nd owner, always garaged. Minor scratches on the tank and upper ferring, minor indentation on tank, nickel sized. Never crashed, dropped once from a stopped position with no damage to body.

Pristine condition. No scratches anywhere and has never been dropped or tipped over. Factory stock except for mild-riser clip-ons (nice!) and modified license plate location (see photos). 3150 original miles. I am the third owner. None of us rode it very much. Tires: Bridgestone Battlax BT016R with less than 200 miles. Included are the stock clip-ons, the stock rear fender/license-plate holder and the passenger seat. CYCLE WORLD (April 2013 issue) called the K5 GSX-R1000 "Godzilla" because it is the last of the pure superbikes: no gadgets or electronics to spoil the fury. All GSX-R1000s after this were heavier and had a worse power-to-weight ratio. This was the high-water mark. And this one is essentially new. Bike is located in Santa Rosa, CA.
