Own a classic with many upgrades! I am selling my Monster S2R 800 Dark edition. $4000 OR BEST OFFER. This bike has been a real joy, but I have decided to move on to something different and can't keep two bikes. A little about this bike: The "Dark" model was a model that included gloss black rims, matte black finish, and no front fairing. This bike was considered Ducati's effort to target both returning riders and newer riders with a single-side swing-arm bike that had slightly higher specs, but wasn't quite the S4. It has great torque and it's a fast city bike because of the gearing, torque and very light weight. It's super easy to handle, and has a linear power curve which is great for newer or smaller riders. A recent Dyno reading showed the bike is still right at factory horsepower levels, and the air/fuel mixture is great. This was one of the later air-cooled 2-valve per cylinder 803cc engines, which has the APTC wet-clutch. In my opinion, one of the best air-cooled Ducati engines ever made, and very reliable. The valves are belt-driven. It's easy to work on and do most maintenance yourself. These bikes are holding their value and are highly desirable, especially as Cafe projects. The bike has approximately 34,000 miles on it.-Brand new stock battery-Less than 500 miles on chain-Rear brake pads just changed-Dunlop Q2 tires on front and rear, average wear.-New front and rear sprockets (stock teeth)-New fuel pump & assembly ($800+)-Ohlins rear shock with adjustable damper and preload ($1000+)-Arrow carbon fiber slip-on exhaust ($800+)-Speedy Moto triple tree ($300)-Custom Ducati etched "coffin covers" -Custom LED front turn signals-Custom bar-end mirrors-Tail-chop kit with integrated turn signals- Cannister delete- Hypermotard oil cooler lines (looks way better than stock)- Belt covers and front sprocket cover are plasti-dipped black- Gold anodized frame plugs, tire fill caps, and oil fill cap*I have the stock bars, mirrors, and tail assembly, as well as red and black key, with master code.=============================================The Bad:=============================================- Minor scratches on both the tank and rear seat cowl. These are covered with touch-up paint.- An engine coating that the previous owner put on the bike didn't set properly before a ride, so a small portion of the block has some small sand particles stuck on it.- Has some tank expansion issues from the heat and moisture. This is not a serious problem, but the tank has a slightly too-tight fit on the frame and has some difficulty locking down on the clamp. - I think it's probably due for a valve adjustment/service. The bike still rides amazing and the engine is perfect, but the valve adjustment should probably be done pretty soon.- The valve belts are in excellent condition but should probably be replaced pretty soon just due to age.Full bike specs: :// .motorcyclespecs.co.za/model

It’s time to sell my 919 project. I’ve moved on to something European now. This is a South Carolina salvage titled bike. I’ve replaced and/or fixed parts that needed it. I was not the one that wrecked it. So I do not know the full extent of what happened. Paint is fresh Plasti-dip. Tank has been coated with sealer inside. The engine runs like a top, but the previous owner threw a chain and it did cause damage to the around that area…I think that led to the accident. The bike is my daily ride to and from work every day, since I got her back on the road. ALL fluids have recently been changed. I use Amsoil products.2002 Honda CB900F, 919 -22,800 miles -Bike Master heated grips -H.I.D. high beam - Replaced forks with approx. 3k miles on them, I have the old 2006’s that were on it still, but one is slightly tweaked. - New steering head and wheel bearings - New radiator - Replaced rear shock with 2007 model - Renthal handlebar - Pirelli Angle GT’s with approx. 2k on them - New brake pads, brake fluid & Stainless steel lines, less than 1k on them - 900RR D&D exhaust mod…old used parts - Dan Kyle’s 520 conversion, less 1k on it - Givi crash bars - New plugs & cables, approx 2k miles - Bike is located in Charleston South Carolina.

Big Bike Style. Small Bike Price. A lot of “small bikes” are just that; they’re small. The 2015 Suzuki GW250 takes a different approach. It keeps the price small, and delivers big on features, size, and performance. The GW250 returns for 2015 in a new Candy Cardinal Red look and fairing-less naked-bike appeal. The GW250 is a full-size motorcycle featuring first-rate components, all at an entry-level price. Suzuki fuel-injection technology feeds the 248cc liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine, which delivers user-friendly power focused on strong low-to-mid rpm performance. The six-speed transmission gives riders complete control of the power delivery for confident cruising at freeways speeds and on city streets. The GW250’s long chassis delivers a comfortable ride, and the contoured seat is low to accommodate a range of riders, plus it’s roomy and comfortable for a passenger, too. This motorcycle rolls on 17-inch aluminum three-spoke wheels. Hydraulic disc brakes front and back provide consistent stopping power. Riders looking for an affordable full-featured – and full-size – motorcycle will find a perfect fit in the 2015 Suzuki GW250.
