CAFE OR CRUISER OR BOBBER - SO MANY POSSIBILITIES In 2007, the engine capacity was increased to 865 cc (carburated) delivering peak power of 54 bhp (40 kW) at 6,800 rpm, with maximum torque of 69 N·m (51 lbf·ft) available at 4,800 rpm. Fuel economy is approximately 45 miles per US gallon (5.2 L/100 km; 54 mpg-imp) city and 50 miles per US gallon (4.7 L/100 km; 60 mpg-imp) highway. The update included new 'reverse cone' chrome silencers, a new design of cast alloy wheels, adjustable clutch and front brake levers and a new all black engine finish with chromed covers. SEE PHOTOS. I PERSONALLY REMOVED FRONT WHEEL , FENDER AND BRAKE CALIPER , LOOSENED TRIPLE CLAMPS , ROTATED UPPER FORK TUBES AND LOWER TUBES VERIFYING THEY WERE STRAIGHT . INSPECTED FRONT WHEEL AND TIRE - NO DAMAGE AND RUNS PERFECTLY TRUE . NO MARKS ON RIM . AXLE AND BRAKE ROTOR ALSO PERFECT . ENGINE , CLUTCH AND TRANSMISSION WORK PERFECTLY . AND FUEL INJECTION !!!ENGINE QUIET , NO NOISES OR LEAKS I JUST INSTALLED A NEW BATTERY . THE INSURANCE COMPANY PROBABLY DID NOT KNOW HOW TO RESET THE TRIPOMETER ON THE SPEEDO AS THEY WROTE THE MILEAGE ON TITLE AS 10 MILES AND ENTERED THE MILEGE AS UNKNOWN. BUT THESE ARE ELECTRIC SPEEDOS DRIVEN OFF THE ENGINE SO IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE ODOMETER IS CORRECT MILEAGE AND IS CURRENTLY SHOWING 9982 MILES . OWNER MUST HAVE JUST INSTALLED A SET OF BRAND NEW METZLER MARATHON TIRES BEFORE HE DROPPED IT AS THESE TIRES BOTH STILL HAVE THE NUBS ON THEM !!! COME TO THINK OF IT , NEW TIRES ARE SLIPPERY UNTIL THEY GET SOME MILES ON THEM AND WHAT MAY HAVE HAPPENED IS OWNER DIDN'T REALIZE THIS AND SLID OUT AS THERE IS LITERALLY NO WEAR SHOWING ON THE TIRES . THE CLOSE UP PHOTOS AND ABILITY TO ZOOM IN WILL ALLOW YOU TO SEE THE DAMAGE VERY WELL .SOMETIMES A PERSONAL INJURY IS INVOLVED WITH THE RIDER AND THE TRIUMPH VALUE THEN BECOMES UNIMPORTANT COMPARED TO PERSONAL INJURY AMOUNT . IF NOT THAT , THEN THE REASON THAT INSURANCE COMPANY DID NOT REPAIR THE DAMAGE WAS PROBABLY BECAUSE SOME OF THE PARTS THAT HAD EVEN A HAIRLINE SCRATCH WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY . UPON WRITING THE ESTIMATE , THERE COULD HAVE BEEN A SCRATCH ON THE FRAME OR COMBINATION OF ANY PARTS WHICH WOULD HAVE MADE AN EXPENSIVE COST TO REPAIR . PARTS CAN BE ACQUIRED HERE ON E BAY TO REPAIR OR BOUGHT NEW OVERSEAS BUYERS ARE WELCOME AND THE PORT OF LOS ANGELES IS QUITE CLOSE FOR SHIPMENT. I PERSONALLY PURCHASED THIS FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY , DETAILED IT , PERFORMED THE MECHANICAL CHECK , INSPECTED IT , RODE IT , WROTE THIS DESCRIPTION AND TOOK THE PHOTOGRAPHS . EXPLAINATION OF THE " REBUILT " TITLE THAT IT WILL HAVE . AS WITH MOST STATES , YOU TAKE THE BIKE TO DMV INSPECTION STATION FOR A LIGHTING VERIFICATION THEN YOUR DMV WILL GIVE YOU A NEW TITLE IN YOUR NAME . RETAIN SOME PHOTOS WHEN YOU RECEIVE BIKE AND YOU CAN DOCUMENT ITS LIGHT DAMAGE FOR LATER DATE OR IF YOU RESELL IT . IT IS NOW STREET LEGAL AND WILL STATE "REBUILT " IN THE COMMENT SECTIONI BELIEVE THAT EVERY STATE REMOVES THE SALVAGE FROM THE TITLE EXCEPT CALIFORNIA. IT IS A SALVAGE TITLE CURRENTLY BUT WILL NOT BE NOR WILL IT SAY SALVAGE ONCE YOU HAVE INSPECTION PERFORMED .
