Im selling my 1982 Yamaha Seca Turbo XJ650LJ The bike has presently18563 miles on it, that may change til the bike sells. Its in what I would consider better than average condition for a bike of this age. Its a running, riding bike, the turbo makes boost pressure as it should. Its over 30 years old, but I did the preventative maintenance on it since owning it, so its in good mechanical condition. Everything on the bike works as it should, except occassionaly the left signal does not blink, and once in a while the fuel gauge does not register, its says the bike is empty when its full. Neither of these are big issues at all, I just want all to be known about the bike. It has a plug in for a battery tender or heated clothing installed also. It has a new battery installed in the last year, and I keep it on a battery tender when not in use. There is one notable scratch in the finish I pointed out in one of the photos. I have owned in the past few years several bikes from the 80's and early 90's, I just no longer have time to ride and have sold all of my bikes, this Yamaha is the last bike I own. Because I owned many bikes at one time, often my bikes would sit for about a month or so without being ridden. This Yamaha when it sits for a long period of time, it can be difficult to start, but it always starts. If you ride it regularly it always fires right up. Just when it sits for a period of a few weeks is it difficult, I just chalked it up as the way it is, and again like I said above its over 30 years old. I am selling this bike AS IS, and recommend coming to see it in person so you know exactly what condition its in, I tried to describe it as best I could, but everyones condition of good or average differs. I have no idea what a bike like this is worth, its older, but its in pretty good condition, its kinda rare being turbo charged. So I priced it accordingly.
