2008 Yamaha Yzf R6, Motor: 5,200 miles Had a 2010 R6 motor professionally installed in 2013. Motor had been removed from another R6 to make way for a race motor, and had only 2,700 original miles on it. Motor has only 5,200 miles on it now. Chassis: 30K miles (mostly freeway commuting) Maintenance: Oil and filter changed every 2,500 miles with full synthetic Repsol race oil and K&N oil filter. Care: Adult owned. Always maintained. Always garaged. Never abused. History: Been down 1x. Lowsided on track at slow speed. Only cosmetic damage, and all repaired, except for scraped stator cover ($150 to replace). Was used primarily as a commuter bike for 3+ years. Took in for valve check at 25K miles, and it required substantial valve work. Catalyst Reaction made me a deal on a very low mileage 2010 motor, sold me and installed the motor with only 2,700 miles on it. Has only been used as a track bike 3-5x per year, and occasional weekend rides since then, which is why the motor only has 5,200 miles on it. Everything works. Bike runs perfectly, and FAST!
