Professionally built by Hot Rod Services of Massachusetts, this 2012 car is Chassis # 201.The car has only 83 miles on it, is all shaken down and ready to go. Registered and titled in Massachusetts, it is Massachusetts emissions exempt and all the hard work is already done.Currently the car is set up as a roadster but it also includes the matching hardtop and glass as well as hood sides should you choose a different look.Nothing infuses adrenalin into a drive like a fresh Ford Racing 306ci crate V-8 generating 340hp breathing deep through an Edelbrock 600cfm carb perched atop an Edelbrock RPM Performer intake. An MSD ignition sparks it to life while spent gasses exit through ceramic coated headers to a 2 ½-inch chrome exhaust exiting at the rear of the car. Power transfers through a new Tremec T5 transmission to a Ford posi-traction 8.8 rear with 3.55:1 gears.When it came time to designing the factory options in the car, no expense was spared and the grouping includes the following items: manual transmission tunnel w/ widened foot box, 3-link rear suspension, chrome tilt steering column, electric steering, removable hardtop and glass, power windows, leather seats, rear disc brake kit. Very powerful setup for this lightweight car the engine is completely installed and has been test-driven with the body off of car. HAS BEEN SITTING ALMOST 2 YEARS SO IM SURE IT WILL NEED A TUNE UP ALSO and a new battery . Trim pieces all around and weatherstripping and most of the detail pieces will still be needed including vents in front trunk latch.the seats sre brand new and are just sitting in place. Still need to be installed. This kit uses a plexi glass windshield that has been cut to fit. And all holes drilled and ready. I do have the roof section that was removed if anyone decided to make it a removable top. It is unpainted and would require some body work also there is no door glass as this car is set up as a roadster. For nice days only..The wheels are three piece lowenhart ld5 20 by 10.5 rear and 20 by 8.5 fronts with 275 rear tires. The wheels are in great shape with no corrosion but do have a few small scrapes on a couple of the lips as seen in pics.. You may recall a great episode on PowerNation's "Detroit Muscle" where five industry-pro women collaborated to build a killer 427-powered Factory Five beast. The car is now for sale, and some of the proceeds will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This Factory Five Mk4 Roadster is powered by Ford Racing's 535 HP small block 351W based 427 stroker with Edlebrock's pro-flo 2 fuel injection (carb look-a-like). A TKO 5 speed delivers power to the 3.31 solid axle 8.8" rear end with FFR 3-link suspension from our race series. The shocks are Koni 3012 double-adjustable coil-over units. Brakes are Wilwood 13" cross-drilled and slotted rotors up front with four pot calipers, and 11.65" rears with 2 piston calipers. Tires are Toyo R888's roadracing rubber on custom wheels designed by Christopher Coddington and Hot Rods by Boyd. Paint is Sherwin Williams Planet Color Midnight Black with off white vintage stripes. The car is brand new and has less than 100 miles on it.
