We don't sell many Factory Five demo cars, but here is one! You may recall a great episode on PowerNation's "Detroit Muscle" where five industry-pro women collaborated to build a killer 427-powered Factory Five beast. The car is now for sale, and some of the proceeds will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. This Factory Five Mk4 Roadster is powered by Ford Racing's 535 HP small block 351W based 427 stroker with Edlebrock's pro-flo 2 fuel injection (carb look-a-like). A TKO 5 speed delivers power to the 3.31 solid axle 8.8" rear end with FFR 3-link suspension from our race series. The shocks are Koni 3012 double-adjustable coil-over units. Brakes are Wilwood 13" cross-drilled and slotted rotors up front with four pot calipers, and 11.65" rears with 2 piston calipers. Tires are Toyo R888's roadracing rubber on custom wheels designed by Christopher Coddington and Hot Rods by Boyd. Paint is Sherwin Williams Planet Color Midnight Black with off white vintage stripes. The car is brand new and has less than 100 miles on it. The build team included: Karen Salvaggio, an SCCA and NASA regional and national roadracing champion Jo Coddington, broadcast celebrity from American Hot Rod, American Icon, Bidding Wars, and wife of the late Boyd Coddington CherieLynn Westrich, formerly of Overhaulin' Nan Gelhard, Director of Advertising at Summit Racing, Inc. Courtnie Provencher, a mechanic from Factory Five Racing The car was also featured on the 2014 Hot Rod Power Tour with women from the build team at stops along the way. The car headlined the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The car was shown at the 2014 Wisconsin Dells Automania Autoshow, and can currently be seen in Factory Five's showroom. If you missed the show when it aired, you can watch it online on PowerNation's "Detroit Muscle". Click one of the links below! After careful consideration, I have decided to sell the cobra in order to get something that I can drive a bit more comfortably. I purchased the kit on April 4th, 2012 and had it on the road and titled in June of 2013. The car is titled in NH as a "custom car", and registered as a 1965.The car has just over 2000 miles on it. I originally built it with an LS1 motor I had, but I upgraded to a forged internals, lightly cammed LS3. The LS3 has 400 miles on it. This car built as a NON-DONOR.I had the bodywork and paint done by Metal-Morphous in CT. I own a custom car audio shop, and we did a custom dash/center console with a Kenwood double din radio and a set of high end Hertz High-Energy XL Speakers. The stereo is very loud and can be heard well even at 70+ MPH.Heres a list of parts:Brand New Forged internals and balanced LS3 w/400 miles-this motor makes about 440whp, we could not dyno it when it was tuned because of the new clutchT56 TransmissionLS7 ClutchWalbro 255 Fuel Pump w/stainless linesAeromotive FPRBillet Fuel Rails03/04 Cobra Front Brakes w/Stainless LinesFox body rear end w/Yukon 28 Spline Axles and Cobra Disk Brakes/stainless lines from FortesWilwood Pedal Box from FortesHydraulic Clutch, and Front and Rear BrakesCNC Reservoirs3-Link RearSN95 Spindles bought new with kitTubular Lower Control Arms Front and RearBreeze Automotive Hood Hinge Kit18" Black Chrome Bullitt WheelsBackdraft Stainless Heat ShieldsPainless Performance Engine HarnessPainless Performance 12 Circuit Chassis HarnessCustom Speedhut Revolution GaugesFinishline LouversFinishline Body mountsThe entire cockpit and trunk have been sound deadened with HushmatKenwood Excelon DDX419, Hertz Hi Energy XL 6.5" Component Speakers, Hertz HDP Amplifier
