For Sale: 1937 Hudson Terraplane "Big Boy" pick-up. Complete truck will all trim, handles, chrome, etc. A true Survivior. Truck is missing cylinder head. Radiator in excellent shape. All parts accounted for. Professional Restoration services available by Seller. This is a truly amazing and rare vehicle with very little rust. It is structurally sound and has absolutely amazing lines. I would prefer this vehicle go to a collector rather than be chopped up and hot-rodded. Clear Title and stored in a heated building. 1938 hudson terraplane coupe street rod powered by a 392 chrysler hemi from 1957. motor was bored 30 over all componets of this motor were designed and bought through Hot Heads. pistons are 10.25-1 compression camshaft is hydraulic- was reground by Racer Brown to acheive a little more lift and duration. the cam grind is the same as that which was used in the 300 series 2-4 cars. the oil pump is a stock 392 rebuilt by Hot Heads. the valves are all brand new replacements the guides are resleeved in bronze the intake is a hotheads two 4 barrel intake. it has been polished Carborators are 390 cfm each. the distributor is stock chrysler electronic fired by a msd 6a. water pump is a big block chevy conversion harmonic balancer is brand new headers are Sanderson ceramic block headers Very dependable motor producing roughly 450 horse power with alot of torque. transmission 727 small block chrysler auto that has been totally rebuilt with a Cheeta valve body shift kit. It has a Lokar floor shifter. does not have overdrive. just a standard 727. Rearend 9 inch ford that has been narrowed . 325 gears - posi unit , axles are 28 spline by mosser, 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern, this cars frame has been backed halved to a coil over 4 link with pan hard bar. power drum brakes.Fully adjustible for any track condition if you choose to race it. I have never raced it. Frontend mustang 2 strutless coil spring, rack and pinion power disc brakes. 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Radiator by Walker --- copper ALL THE RIGHT PARTS! Lokar---- shifter , oil dip stick, transmission dip stick IDIDIT--- steering colume-- tilt WELD RACING-- wheels 15 inch front and rear, 5 inch front, 8 inch rear Hagan--- frenched headlights, flush mount parking lights FLAMING RIVER--- steering wheel Borgeson-- steering joints VDO--- gages including vdo tack Car has a heater, cd player, small amp and wired for Xm radio.All glass is tinted and new. power windows. fuel cell is 26 gallon. this car will get 16 mpg on the highway. This car has a hidden hitch for towing. I pull a coleman camper with it. It also has a brake controller. This was a fairly straight car when I started the street rod build. Car is finished in Dupont base coat clear. It is Blazing copper /cool vanilla fenders. The interior seats are 6 way power with lumbar. Whole interior is reupholstered with white and oyster panel. All garnish moldings have been woodgrained.They are beautiful. This is a very dependable and driveable car capable of being driven anywhere.30,000 miles since build. There are a few small stone chips but still a very respectable award winning car. Car is located in N.W. P.A. zip code 16317.
