Rare 2005 Ridley Auto Glide Classic 744 LE Numbered 28 of 40 ever made. Won bike shows for previous owner. I get stopped EVERY time I ride by people that want to take pictures or talk about the bike. Recently went to a rally and had over half the people there come by to talk to me about it. I drove the bike all last season, collectors or not, it's a bike that loves to driven. Ridley is an American made fully AUTOMATIC motorcycle. Great for beginners, disabled, or riders that just don't want to worry about shifting. There is no clutch handle. You start it, give it gas, and go. Custom trike kit added so you don't have to worry about balance either. ($4,000 new). The trike kit is an Insta-Trike and can come off in minutes to expose the tow hitch. I wouldn't suggest towing anything - it's not a bike meant for that. Basically someone with no experience can get on this bike and drive it hundreds of miles (which is exactly what I did within 20 minutes after purchasing it). Runs and drives perfect. Needs nothing. Recently had: New white wall tires put on (less then 2k miles ago) New trike tires put on (less then 2k miles ago) New clutch belt 500 miles ago ($200) Transmission/Clutch service ($50) New drive belt less then 100 miles ago ($200) New drive pulley less then 100 miles ago ($600) New Battery Around 17K miles Upgraded seat. Garage kept all of it's life. I am the third owner. It was first in Florida, then Virginia, and now here in Georgia. No rust! Paint is raised around the both gas inlets/fillers on the tank - I've researched the bike a bit. This seems typical for Ridley's and was there before I bought the bike. There are scuffs here and there in the paint as well. Paint rubbed off under tool bag on fender from it moving while driving. Paint on the bottom front of the saddle bag rubbed off when a bolt came loose and it moved on the trike kit during driving. Earlier this year when I was planning on using the bike as collateral on a loan (I didn't end up doing that) I had a dealer appraise the bike, in it's current condition, and they valued it just over $11,000. I may still have that paperwork. I have all the paperwork on the recent parts that I installed. I have the book that first came with the bike, the service records from before I bought the bike are written inside this book, and I even have the dealer show card from when it was bought new. Escorted Test drives only to Licensed Motorcycle riders if you plan to come look at it before buying. I suggest that this is done so there are no issues.
