US Government 2-1/2 cargo truck for sale. Year is unknown (since ebay requires a year, 1980 is an estimate), ownership was first transferred from the US Government to a private citizen in 1993. Truck is in fair condition and runs well. It will most likely need brake work. The title lists the model as M35A2C, make is unknown, and mileage on the odometer may have turned over completely to be 124,141 since the title lists the mileage as 24,400 in 1993. All new fabricated cab and top making it a 4 door truck with (suicide doors).- Engine is the Hercules LDT- 465 turbocharged model.- 46” Michelin Tires are mounted on a custom 20"x 10" wide bolt together 2 piece military type wheel.- The tires stand a full 46" tall bringing the top speed of the truck up to 70 mph and it will cruise at 65 mph nicely.- Air powered steering for ease of steering along with lock out hubs- Snorkel for the air cleaner for better mud and water protection when off-road.- The truck parts and frame were sand blasted then primed using epoxy primer and epoxy paints.- There is over 10+ gallons of paint used on this truck. This 1968 M35 was completely refurbished in 1992. It has a D series turbo, dual shock seats, hard top and heat. It has 478X ORIGINAL miles on it and 187 ORIGINAL HOURS on the clock. I added a rain flap and the J pipe will need to be replaced in the future. I let this sit all winter from November until 4.18.2015 and it fired up without even turning over. This is the best running, low miles/hours truck that you will find. I also have 2- Corp of Engineers 2.5 ton pole type trailers for sale and an S250 shelter in VGC on one of them.
