High end racing aluminum pistons and Crower rods. Cam by Jim Brierley. Twin SU carbs. 5 speed T5 Transmission with modern clutch and ultralight flywheel. Durable 1940 Ford rear end mated with a 1937 Willys dropped front axle and 1948 Ford hubs and drums. Dual hydraulic brake system. Kelsey Hayes monstrous 17" wheels with perfectly serviceable tires,cooled by a custom aluminum radiator with electric fan and fluid recovery system. Currently registered for street use and fully street legal in all 50 states with fully functional brake lights and turn signals. Instruments are tachometer, oil pressure, water temp and ammeter. This veritably unique vehicle was hand made by a gentleman many years ago for mind-searing promotional advertising for a very small town lumber yard in Britt, Iowa (population 2187 today) and is very solidly built and can be driven down the highway at 80 miles an hour with absolutely no vibration and handles like any reliable 1960 Chevy pickup truck, you can drive this truck across the country as it is reliable enough to be a daily driver but has a small brake line leak that will require attention. This very unique truck has always been pampered by its previous proud owner (seen in listing) but a debilitating illness from the last owner has brought this vehicle to my collection of rare cars . This truck does not overheat and has absolutely no issues with the operation of the vehicle and ALWAYS stored indoors, the pictures say it all !!. I excitedly consider ALL trades, just email with your proposition! As can be seen in the photographs the condition of this one of a kind vehicle is OUTSTANDING and has absolutely no wear or weathering to the exterior and has always been garaged kept and lovingly oiled with furniture polish on a monthly basis. The wood in in excellent condition with a beautiful aged patina and there is absolutely no cracks, rips or tears in the vinyl exterior. This is beautiful truck is certainly not for everyone but I bet someone will look at these pictures and think, JUST WHAT I ALWAYS WANTED!!
