Of all the bikes I've had, this has been by far the easiest and most fun to ride. I bought the bike used from a dealer down near Springfield, MO last summer. The bike has no problems and runs fantastic. With two active teenage boys, I simply don't have enough time to ride. Someone needs to put this bike to better use than I am. I put new Michelin Pilot Power tires on it about 800 miles ago. I also changed the oil and all 3 filters about 600 miles ago. The battery is strong and it is always on a Battery Tender. The bike is in excellent condition in my opinion. It has light wear consistent with its mileage. There is some light scuffing on one of the frame sliders on the left and two on the right (just enough to remove some of the white and raised letters on the pucks.....possibly rubbed against a wall? It's minor but I suppose it could have been set over (purposely or accidently) on a smoother surface such as a garage floor). Regardless, I felt it needed to be disclosed. The bike has approximately 9,150 miles which may go up some as I will continue to ride as the weather permits. The bike has been well cared for and always garaged. I'm usually not one for loads of aftermarket gadgets on my bikes like Power Commanders, etc, but on this bike I think they are welcome and useful. The Rottweiler Intake & Power Commander make the bike so much easier to ride around town. These bikes are fairly unique and you won't see many around town. If you're in the market for a Ducati Monster, Triumph Speed or Street Triple, Kawasaki Z1000, MV Augusta Brutale, Yamaha FZ-9, Honda CB1000r, etc, you should read the reviews on the Super Dukes before you take the plunge! Payment will need to be in the form of cash or certified check from a major bank which I can contact during normal business hours and confirm its authenticity. I will consider other funding options but the funds will have to clear prior to release of the bike. The bike will need to be picked up locally. I have a free and clear title, bike manual, and both keys for the bike. I will prepare a Bill of Sale in duplicate for both parties to sign and retain. A non-refundable $250 deposit is due within 48 hours of the auctions close (immediately in the case of Buy It Now). The bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if a local buyer is found and the reserve on this auction has not been met. Thanks!
