Hello,I am the original owner of this z1000. I purchased it in the fall of 2014 and have ridden it all year long. It is in great shape and has 2886 miles on it. I am a 35 year old father of 2 and a responsible rider so The bike was broken in properly and has been meticulously maintained. It has always been in my garage or under a cover at work. It has the following aftermarket accessories; Clean under tail kit, integrated blinkers in tail light, folding cafe racer mirrors, center lift/stand, a new rear tire (the stock tire got a roofing nail in it), reflective z1000 rim logos, cortech super 2.0 contoured saddlebags and a half cover. I also have all the original stock parts that came off the bike. The engine and exhaust are completely stock. This bike is amazingly quick and my favorite bike of all time. Of all the bikes I've had, this has been by far the easiest and most fun to ride. I bought the bike used from a dealer down near Springfield, MO last summer. The bike has no problems and runs fantastic. With two active teenage boys, I simply don't have enough time to ride. Someone needs to put this bike to better use than I am. I put new Michelin Pilot Power tires on it about 800 miles ago. I also changed the oil and all 3 filters about 600 miles ago. The battery is strong and it is always on a Battery Tender. The bike is in excellent condition in my opinion. It has light wear consistent with its mileage. There is some light scuffing on one of the frame sliders on the left and two on the right (just enough to remove some of the white and raised letters on the pucks.....possibly rubbed against a wall? It's minor but I suppose it could have been set over (purposely or accidently) on a smoother surface such as a garage floor). Regardless, I felt it needed to be disclosed. The bike has approximately 9,150 miles which may go up some as I will continue to ride as the weather permits. The bike has been well cared for and always garaged. The Rottweiler Intake & Power Commander make the bike so much easier to ride around town. These bikes are fairly unique and you won't see many around town. If you're in the market for a Ducati Monster, Triumph Speed or Street Triple, Kawasaki Z1000, MV Augusta Brutale, Yamaha FZ-9, Honda CB1000r, etc, you should read the reviews on the Super Dukes before you take the plunge! 1972 Suzuki GT750 Project. Bike has GSXR inverted fork conversion--- Yamaha 7 spoke wheels, front custom machined for dual rotors, rear has billet aluminum custom machined sprocket carrier-- Showa rear shocks with adjustable compression, rebound, and spring preload-- NEW polished Stainless Steel expansion chambers made in the UK at a cost of $1200 alone, so NO I will not sell the whole bike for that--- custom 550 steel oil tank--- Yamaha R6 rear brake caliper and carrier with custom cut down rear rotor---- NOS Tachometer in custom cup---- cafe solo seat in steel and working hinged factory seat pan---- Boyer Branson electronic ignition installed---- NOS clutch and tack cable, exhaust gaskets oil injection lines. Also 2 extra wiring harnesses, oil injection pump, radiators, covers, front calipers (require brackets made for correct spacing) Complete running extra engine (under 10k miles) included with other parts pictured. Engine on bike has a little over 10K, it is ROCK SOLID, runs when wired up, had a ton of compression. Has one broken exhaust pipe stud on engine installed in the bike. Both engines are from later GT750's, I believe 74 or 75, I have the speedometers off of both bikes that the engines were removed from so I know the mileage. THIS IS A PROJECT BIKE. Still need some brackets made and wiring and a few odds and ends. There is a lot of custom machine work in the bike and all the hard work is done. Bike is PICK UP ONLY with CASH on pick up.
