This is a 1980 Honda CB900C. It comes as pictured with the Hondaline fairing and the locking trunk. The fairing lowers are also included, but not pictured. I acquired this bike three years ago and it has been my daily rider since then. I've put nearly 8000 miles on it with no issues. The CB900C has the 10 speed Hi/Low transmission, which makes it perfect for highway use. This bike is in great condition. The fairing windshield is clear with only minor scratches. The brake lines were replaced with brand new stainless steel braided lines from Galfers. The back tire is like new and the front tire still has a lot of life left in it. The seat is free of rips or tears. The sub-transmission and final drive oils were changed 200 miles ago. The engine oil was changed at that same time, and has been changed every 1200 to 1500 miles.

I have a very nice running 1981 Honda CB900C Custom for sale, with 18,000 original miles. It was restored by me. The previous owner rarely rode the bike. When I received it, it was a basket case. I went through the entire bike with a fine toothed comb. 2000 Miles on rebuilt engine, Cylinder head valve job and shim adjusted. Carbs cleaned, but still need to be synced. New clutch discs with heavy duty springs on the pressure plate. Rebuilt rear brake caliper and rear brake master cylinder. New front brake master cylinder. All new brake pads, front and rear. New front fork seals and oil. All the fluids have been drained and flushed, topped with high quality hypoid gear oil.Synthetic, 20/50 motorcycle engine oil. All in all, a very nice running and good looking old school motorcycle. Certainly a head turner.

Pulled the bike out after sitting for a while, I bought a couple years ago. The bike runs and drives, but could probably use some TLC.- Leaks a little oil (I think it may just be the oil pan.)- Speedometer does not work.- The blinkers and brake light do not seem to work. the brake light with come on with the bike, but is does not get brighter when brake is applied.- Take a sec to warm up and requires choke.- Missing little cover on left side of the bike.Work Done:- new spark plugs - Oiled and cleaned the throttle and choke cables.- new valve cover gasketI will also include the original repair manual for the bike which is really comprehensive.

I am selling this motorcycle for a friend who is seriously ill and I have no personal knowledge of the bike. Therefore, the motorcycle is for sale “as is.” However, you can see from the photos the bike is in very good condition. There is some “rash” on the left side of the windscreen, the left side of the engine guard, and the left saddlebag, so this bike was down at one time. From what I can see the minor result is limited to the rash and cosmetic only. I have included close ups of this rash, which probably make it look worse than it is. There is some deterioration of the pin striping on the fuel tank from age that can be seen in one of the photos. Other miscellaneous nicks, etc. that you would expect from a bike of this age can also be seen in the photos. A test ride will not be permitted because of the steep curved drive to get to the road and it is not possible to know the riding skills of a potential buyer. The motorcycle starts and runs fine. In addition, I can say that he rode the bike regularly and has always been meticulous in maintaining vehicles, particularly this prized bike. There is another bike I am selling for my friend: A 1983 Honda CB1000C – see my listing on this other motorcycle. Cash only, please. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE

The bike is in very good shape, it has a crystal clear lexan windscreen, the tank is completely rust free in and out. The bike has been kept inside during the 2 years that I have owned it. It has had its forks rebuilt, both tires new, brand new battery. Everything works as it should. The CB900C is a 10 speed motorcycle with a shaft drive. It has a standard 5 speed gearbox and a hi/low jack shaft transmission. This bike is an absolute pleasure to ride on the highway it holds 70+ miles per hour all day long with never a hick up or excessive vibrations. She is currently inspected and registered in NYState. all lights, horn brakes, etc work perfectly. She will need to have her Carburetors rebuilt at the end of this season as she is starting to develop a cough while downshifting and riding slowly. Included with the sale is a very extensive rebuild manual for the carburetors, and a new unmounted rear tire. Buyer will be responsible for having the bike shipped or picking up locally. Happy bidding.

The new 2015 Honda CB300F--you get all the great CBR300R features, but in a bike that offers the pure, clean look some riders prefer—and once you see a CB300F, you may prefer it yourself. An added plus: The CB300F is a little bit lighter, and you sit up a little straighter. You’re a little more involved in your riding world. It’s an especially good choice for the urban rider. The two share the same great engine—bigger and more powerful than the CBR250R, it offers a wider powerband and more power, great traits for a bike in this category. Like the CBR300R, thanks to it’s single-cylinder engine design, the CB300F is narrow, light, and fun. And the fuel-injected engine also offers excellent fuel economy. But maybe the best news of all is the price. This is one bike you’ve got to check out. * Suggested Retail Price (SRP) excludes destination charge.
