2008 Kawasaki Concours 14, Very good condition 2008 Kawasaki Concours 14 (1400cc) Motorcycle. 28,900 miles. Very well maintained-- oil changes every 5,000 miles. Lots of life left on the tires, plus, I'll throw in an extra set of brand new tires. This bike has never gone down (while moving). It has "tipped" over which resulted in some small scratches on the side mirrors and side luggage bags. The first owner scraped a car trying to split lanes and put a scratch in the side luggage bag. I show the scratches in the photos. Scratches were never very noticeable to me. Also, the end of the tail pipe has a little black paint missing-- a "power washing while still hot" accident. I show it in one of the photos. Side luggage offers lots of storage. This bike also has a trunk (generic brand) which is removed very quickly and easily, and offers the passenger a back rest. This motorcycle comes with a key "fob" that you just keep in your pocket (It actually has 2 fobs). When you are within 3 feet, you can turn the motorcycle on. No need to put a key in the ignition. It's great! Electric windshield goes up and down for more or less air flow. I have the stock windshield plus a taller, aftermarket (CalSci) windshield that I use for winter riding. This bike is kept in my garage. Has a small "glove box" compartment on top of the gas tank. 5.8 gallon gas tank. Heated grips, but the "high" setting stopped working this winter. "Low" setting still works great. I have a pair of rechargeable battery heated gloves, size medium, that I would sell for $140 (purchased them about 3 months ago for $240). They are great and kept my hands warm even on the coldest mornings. The on-board computer tells you: average MPG, current MPG, tire pressure, battery voltage, and range (distance until empty). NO Chain on this bike!! Kawasaki has (what many say) is the best shaft drive system on the market. Instant power. No chains to change, no grease to make a mess. Over the years I've averaged 38-42 MPG, and about 36-38 MPG in cold winter. If you're on the highway, it averages about 44 MPG. Lots of power, but it's smooth and easy to manage. I put 3M reflective stickers on the back of the luggage-- they are invisible (they appear black) in daylight, but when light is shined on them they light up bright white.
