I have for sale a 2000 Honda VFR800. The bike is in Excellent Condition with only 16,000 miles. Mileage will go up as I do ride it from time to time. I'm selling my 2002 VFR 800A. This has been a perfect bike. There is nothing wrong with it, but due to a change in career and home I don't ride anymore. This bike has been babied and is in beautiful condition. I never raced this bike or practiced any stunts. The odometer reads under 47K. I still have the red cowl for the rear, too. If you're unfamiliar with the VFR, this bike has a VTEC, V-4 engine. Many Honda cars use VTEC technology. For the bike, the V-4 has a unique, beautiful sound. At low RPM the engine is operating using 2 valves per cylinder, at 6,800 RPMs HOLD ON! That is when the VTEC kicks in and the engine begins operating with 4 valves per cylinder. The 800A denotes that this bike is equipped with ABS brakes. I purchased my VFR in 2009 with just over 5K miles and have all the service records since that time. I mostly used it for commuting 60 miles round trip and for some longer road trips from north Florida to the mid-West and places beyond. What a great touring bike that still offers a very smooth ride. Since I've owned this bike it has been garage kept with a battery tender keeping the battery in tip-top shape. I started using Motul full synthetic oil at 11K miles; replacing the oil and filter every 3-4K miles. Add-ons include a ThrottleMeister and K & N air filter. I have a Corbin saddle that I will sell with the bike for an additional $250; otherwise it comes with the stock saddle. The Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires were put on in December 2012 and only have 6K miles; you can see from the pics that there is still plenty of tread remaining. The most recent maintenance includes changing the battery (4/2017), replacing both cam chain tensioners (6/2014), and flushing all brake lines and replacing all the brake pads (3/2014). This is an amazing all around bike perfect for road trips, commuting, and zipping along corners and elevation.

1999 Honda VFR Interceptor 800, 24K miles. Fresh oil, coolant, and brake fluid, Dunlop Q3's with under a thousand miles on them. All stock except for an aftermarket slip on exhaust (still relatively quiet). Terrific shape, needs nothing, all ready to go for spring. 2003 Interceptor, low miles, lots of extras. Never ridden hard, and always had scheduled maintenance done on time. Great starter motorcycle, and insurance is low because it's not a sport bike, but it still rides like one! Comfortable on long rides too. Extras - *Full set of hard bags and mounts (I have the kit to get rid of the mounts and go with no handles, if you want the handles, there not too expensive). *Laser exhaust - Nice, low, throaty sound, more power *Throttlemeister cruise control *12 volt BMW style power port (I'll include a USB Adaptor - charge your phone or GPS while you ride, or plug in heated gear and ride year-round) *RAM ball mount - Mount your GPS, Phone, cup holder, radar detector, gopro, whatever you want! I'll throw in the RAM cup holder if interested. *HID Headlights - Can be easily returned to stock by removing igniters/exciters and replacing factory bulbs. *Battery tender directly wired to the battery with Anderson Power Pole connectors (looks clean and factory - I also have the standard battery tender connectors if you want those, Ill swap them out.) *Seat recently re-foamed and re-uhpolstered after some kid shot the seat with a paintball gun. The new covering is softer and much more comfortable for long rides, as the old stuff had aged quite a bit. Really a great bike! Take a look or give me a call or message.
