This scooter has 9700 miles, is in very good condition and runs great. New tires and a new drive belt were installed at 7600 miles. Gas mileage is fantastic at 70 to 80 mpg. Top speed of about 70 mph. This scooter is the size of a small motorcycle. A motorcycle license ("M" endorsement on driver's license) is required. 2008 Ducati Monster S2R, Cafe-style S2R 1000 - fast, torquey, black with white stripe, Italian, very bad ... 2008 was the last year Ducati made the Monster with its original, iconic body style. I much prefer this body to the newer models, which are greatbut just dont look as cool. This is the 1000 cc air-cooled model, which is less bulky and has cleaner lines than the S4Rs. I did a few minor mods to improve performance and give it a cafe look: fender removal kit (no beer tray), Sparks mid-pipe (no udder), cored stock double shotgun cans (sounds awesome, very throaty), RapidBike O2 Emulator installed (super smooth fueling and throttle response), rear-sets, 52 MM clip-ons, bar-end mirrors (very cool and good visibility). I'm the original owner of this truly awesome bike. Great ride, super fun in the canyons, and even comfortable enough for a longer trip. Always well serviced, never raced, never had any problems. 38K miles. Very recently received full service, with valve adjustment, new plugs, new chain, new tires, etc., etc. Fast, reliable bike for a commuter or for canyon strafing : ) Im just not riding much anymore, and shes getting depressed just sitting around Clean title, pink slip in hand. 1996 Yamaha Fzr600 , The bike is a 1996 Yamaha FZR 600 with a clean title and just over 30k miles. Some cosmetic imperfections, but in great mechanical shape. Freshly rebuilt/synchronized carburetors, consistent compression of 140-150 psi across all cylinders, new spark plugs, recent oil change, and battery less than a year old. California registration paid through 5/26/2015. It is ready to ride! I have owned and cared for the bike since January 2005, and Ive tried to be brutally honest about its current condition in the description below. It would be perfect for a new rider looking to get into a low cost sport bike or anyone that wants a fast/fun machine for a reasonable price. As you can see in the pictures, the bike looks great, but is not cosmetically perfect. It retains the stock plastic factory side fairings but has a fiberglass aftermarket front fairing. There are a few cracks and chips in the fairings that should be easily fixable with some epoxy and/or a fiberglass repair kit if desired. Mechanically, the bike is in great condition. After the bike sat for nearly a year unused in my garage, I recently rebuilt and synchronized the carburetors and performed some general maintenance to bring it back to good riding shape. Changed the oil, plugs, and checked over all of the major systems. The engine, cooling system, brakes, suspension, transmission, and clutch are all good shape. The tires have plenty of tread, but are old, so you might consider new rubber if you plan to take the bike to the track or for highly aggressive street riding. In addition to the bike, I have a box full of spare parts, a service manual, a rear stand, and a cover that I would be willing to sell for an additional $100. I also have a spare motor/trans that I picked up off of eBay a number of years ago that is for sale. I have never run the spare motor, but the seller indicated that it was in good condition Due to other hobbies and distractions, I have not been able to ride this bike as much as I would have liked over the past 9 years. Though Id love to keep it, I just dont have enough time to enjoy it and so I am ready to see it go to a new home. I have taken in to account all of the above items and believe that the bike is fairly priced $1,750. As I am in no particular rush to sell the bike, the price is relatively firm. Thank you.
