1974 KAWASAKI Z1 900 ---------------This is a 1974 Z1 restored to the highest level------------ A correct original numbers matching Z1 motorcycle. frame #Z1F- 23689 Engine # Z1 E - 23717 Gas tank tail cowling and side covers are original 1974 painted to absolute correct detail using two stage paint ordered from Ralph @ PAINTWORKZ specializing in correct factory paint. Exhaust is original factory exhaust and in excellent shape but not perfect in terms of the chrome. This is a better choice however than perfectly chromed reproduction pipes. Seat is factory original pan and powder coated to protect from battery acid corrosion as is so common on these bikes. Gauges are original to the bike and reconditioned / restored Chain oiler is present and installed without tube added Wheels are correct factory issue TAGASKO 303 stamped. They have been re chromed and NOS factory spokes with factory brass nipples laced up. Engine is COMPLETELY REBUILT USING NOS PISTONS AND RINGS WITH NO OVERBORE! The engine work is to extensive to list in detail here but it is a COMPLETE DIS-ASSEMBLY AND REBUILD INCLUDING ALL THE HEAD WORK....NEW VALVES & VALVE GUIDES ETC...no cheap slap together cutting corners here! As you can see from the pictures there are many brand new items such as sprockets , chain , gasket seals , air filter , spark plugs , etc....things one would want done for a real riders show bike. Correct factory stickers are present If there is a finer restored 1974 Z1 I am not aware of it , but this one certainly ranks as the very best you can possibly buy at this present time. Restoration at this level requires meticulous time consuming attention to detail that is not commonly found and tends to be to expensive for most folks to fully embrace. I have clean clear California title in my name I look forward to sending her to a new home hopefully in a serious collectors hands! ****Best Regards and enjoy the Beauty!****

Local pickup only. Bike is available for inspection locally. 1982 Honda XL 250R. 3965 miles. Vin# JH2HF0317FS006730 Clean title in my name, currently registered(month tag says Aprl, but expires July 8 2015, the DMV did not give me the month tag when I registered it) Guy I bought the bike from said he was the original owner(have not verified that) When I got it, it had 88 tags, and owner said it had been sitting in his garage 27 years(from the layer of dust on it, I'm pretty sure that was accurate) Please see below video of the bike being rode(please forgive the video quality, took it with a I-phone in my shirt pocket) Now the details....Original owner had drained the fuel before storage, and the tank is perfect inside. The front tire has been replaced, the rear tire has some dry rot and needs replacement. The cam plug has been replaced and valve cover resealed(cam plug leaked)New air filterNew plugNew float and carb bowl gasketOil has been changed with Castrol 10-40 motorcycle oilStarts, does not smoke, no oil leaks, runs and rides. Has good power and climbs hills no problem. All the electrics work and wiring harness is unmolested. All the original parts, lights, blinkers, ect, are on the bike. Things that need fixingFuel seeps/slow drip from the accelerator pump cover on carburetor. The accelerator pump diaphragm needs replacement. I have been unable to locate this part. There is a very faint ticking when cold that goes away when warmed up, maybe an exhaust leak/possibly needs a valve adjust, or could be something else, I'm not a motorcycle mechanic, so I don't know for sure.Back tire has dry rot and needs replacementHas one key, if you want a spare, you have to have one madeThe coil/spark plug wire insulation is stiff. Not cracked or arcing, but may need replacement in the near future. It has various scuffs and scratches in the finish, but is in good condition for it's age. Please see below video for bike being rode.

No garage queen, my 1971 BSA Thunderbolt is sorted and ready to ride. I recently took it in a ride along the entirety of Route 66, and had no mechanical or electrical issues. Who says British bikes can’t be reliable! I began with a stock, low mileage bike previously owned and serviced by Burt Barrett, president of the BSA Club of Southern California. I updated it with a PKK carburetor and a Sparx voltage regulator. I also installed new Dunlop K70 tires, tapered roller steering head bearings, chain, brake shoes, brake and clutch cables, ignition and fork lock tumblers, air filters, petcocks, ignition coils & wires, condensers, etc. The gas tank has been resprayed in the original green and white colors. Inside the tank is in very good condition. My BSA includes the coolest luggage setup you’ll likely ever see. It has a one of a kind, custom Craven-style rack made by Iron John of Canada (which set me back over $500). Check out the red “BSA” reflectors. Mounted to the rack is a set of authentic Craven Comet saddlebags, with key! I had these imported from England (also at a cost of over $500) and made brackets to attach the bags to the rack. This bike is great fun to ride, with classic quick British twin handling in the corners and decent brakes.
