2014 Kawasaki Ninja ZX -14R ABS, Ninja® ZX -14R ABS World Class Performance Meets Real World Flexibility Everything about the Ninja® ZX -14R ABS sportbike is big: Big displacement, big horsepower, big accolades. Life is pretty good at the top of the heap. When you make more power than any other production sportbike on the planet, as the ZX-14R does, the character of the power delivery is as important as the actual number of horses. To that end, the surface-milled combustion chamber shapes and polished intake ports provide the benefits of racing s black art porting straight from the factory. Consequently, all elements of the induction system work in a coordinated manner, maintaining the Ninja tradition of smooth power delivery. 1,441 CC 4-CYLINDER LIQUID-COOLED DOHC ENGINE Long-stroke design, ported cylinder heads, lightweight forged pistons, and aggressive camshaft profiles provide more torque and power throughout the rev range than any other production sportbike Piston jet system sprays a continuous stream of cooling lubrication to the underside of each piston for cooler running temperatures, more consistent power output and excellent long-term durability Strong cam chain and tensioning system offers excellent high-rpm durability Thick 40 mm crankshaft main journals contribute to long-term engine durability Surface and heat treatments allow the transmission gears to better harness the engine s prodigious power output Chrome composite-plated aluminum cylinder bores are lightweight, durable, and effectively transfer heat away from the combustion chamber and piston for maximum durability at high power outputs Mechanical noise is kept to a minimum via special piston profiles and a urethane insulation sheet on the inside of the magnesium chain cover ABS DISC BRAKES WITH PETAL-TYPE ROTORS AND RADIAL-MOUNT CALIPERS ABS brakes offer excellent performance and enhanced confidence in adverse conditions Compact, lightweight ABS unit is highly effective without weighing the bike down Petal-type brake rotors provide better cooling and enhanced warp resistance than traditional discs Radial mounted 4-piston front brake calipers offer greater rigidity than traditional caliper mounting to improve brake feel A separate brake pad is used for each piston. Individual pads provide increased cooling efficiency and can absorb more heat without deforming so they maintain a consistent brake feel longer. Radial-pump front brake master cylinder provides excellent lever feel and feedback

2006 Kawasaki KLX250S, Runs great! Ready to ride! - KAWASAKI KLX250 JOINS 2006 MODEL LINE-UP AND HELPS CREATE A ONE-TWO PUNCH FOR KAWASAKI DEALERS Street legal model with electric start makes debut in Kawasaki showrooms. It may be dressed in the same Kawasaki Lime Green as its sibling KLX300R off-road speedster, but the all-new KLX250 with electric start finds itself equally at home on the pavement as it will when the riding terrain calls for enduro-like performance. Aggressively styled in the same manner as Kawasaki’s KX motocross equipment, the KLX250 features a lightweight engine with a wide powerband, and a lightweight, high-tensile steel perimeter frame. Powering this new entry in the Kawasaki stable is a compact, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine displacing 249cc. With bore and stroke measuring 72 x 61.2 mm, the engine is mounted towards the bottom of the perimeter frame, helping to deliver a low center of gravity. The engine’s dual overhead cams activate four valves atop an electrofusion-coated aluminum cylinder that provides the KLX250 power plant with extra strength and reliability. The design of the cylinder head provides maximum valve area for optimum flow, and a low reciprocating weight contributes to higher efficiency at high rpm readings. Riders headed out for a long trip will appreciate the gear-driven engine balancer, which helps eliminate engine vibration to deliver greater rider comfort and less fatigue. When getting off the pavement calls for extra protection, the KLX250’s aluminum engine guard shields the crankcase from rocks and stones so prevalent when riding on gravel or dirt roads. With today’s fuel prices, even motorcyclists want to pay attention to gasoline consumption. A Keihin 34mm semi-flat slide CVK carburetor equipped with a Throttle Position Sensor delivers the optimum amount of fuel required under all riding conditions, contributing to improved responsiveness and power, as well as increased fuel economy. Motorcyclists will notice the 26.5° caster angle and short wheelbase which contribute to quick handling response, while the frame rigidity helps straight-line stability. The Uni-Trak rear suspension provides superb road-holding ability and bump absorption and the 43mm inverted cartridge-style front fork comes with a 16-way compression damping adjustment. Stopping the powerful KLX250 is handled by front and rear disc brakes. A twin-piston caliper grips a 250mm semi-floating disc up front, while a single piston caliper operates the 220mm rear disc. Among the other key features of the new KLX250: Flat-top piston and pentroof combustion chamber deliver an 11:1 compression ratio. Lightweight piston, piston pin and connecting rod allow power-producing revs. Starting the KLX250 is simplified through the

2010 Kawasaki KLX250SF, This Bike is a blast! All the fun of a dirt bike on the street! - Sticky street rubber meets lightweight DualSport; big fun can’t be far behind. Type “big fun in a small package” into your internet search and it might take you straight to the Kawasaki KLX250SF supermoto. Based on Kawasaki’s critically acclaimed KLX250S dual sport on / off-road bike, the SF dials up maximum on-road fun with sticky street radials mounted on 17-inch wheels, a shorter seat height, a bit less suspension travel and a big front brake. It’s “just” a 250, but its light weight of just 302 pounds means the KLX250SF packs the sort of performance you’d expect from something bigger and more expensive. Few motorcycles — of any size or price — are capable of out-cornering it.
