For sale is my 1980 Yamaha XS 650.The bike is from 1980 and in rideable condition as is. This could be an excellent candidate for restoration or full customization, this is a versatile platform with plenty of aftermarket support.Bike is in good running condition. I've rebuilt the petcock and carbs, replaced the battery (placed on a tender when not in use). Stored in a garage on the center stand. Stock air boxes were restored with factory parts from eBay, filters are brand new. Spark plugs were replaced. Battery is good.Includes:Factory Yamaha service manualMiscellaneous gaskets that came with the bikeHighway barsHomemade sissy barMatching side covers (color is not matched to the tank, these were purchased from eBay) and one spare cover.Clean Idaho titleHear it start and run - https://youtu.be/OOAIpMB_SZcThe clutch could use adjustment and/or the cable could use some lubrication. The return spring on the kick starter doesn't work but you can still kick it over by pulling the lever back up manually, and the electric starter gear is worn but still works (this is typical of older Yamaha's, there are parts available to fix it).$1400.00 or best offer.
