VINTAGE 1968 BSA STARFIRE B25/441CC SINGLE CYCLE This BSA is a “ Survivor”, not a restoration. I have owned this original, unaltered, stock BSA B25/441 Single one cylinder since 1969, with Dealer installed 441cc engine, but must downsize my collection now. Always garaged, never driven in rain, I used it for occasional trips and cycle shows only. The original mileage is just 3100 miles. The tank is original blue/white, chrome fenders/muffler/ rims/ luggage rack, good tires, and NO damage, accidents, or drops. Engine starts easily with compression release, and runs evenly and strong, as any “Thumper” should. The dual seat is excellent, NO mars or tears. Overall Condition is Excellent ! with Clear Title. Great shape, it gets ridden regularly and has low 30k miles. I have spent lots of dough fixing this up, and have done improvements as well. I won't get all that I have invested but I learned a lot about BMW's, pretty interesting bikes. Parts include hall effect sensor (upgraded Bosch), anti vibration bar ends, bar risers, stainless brake lines, leather Corbin saddle with one backrest that fits front and back, new coil and wires, injectors professionally serviced, new fuel filter in tank and some hoses as well, fuel line quick disconnects, upgraded cam chain tensioner, new rear brake rotor and pads are included but not installed, newish tires are 8.5/10 Avons, all fluids changed on schedule as long as I've had the bike and otherwise normal wear and tear for this age. The bike runs a little rough cold but fine after that, I don't have any more time or energy to play with the tuning anymore but like I said I ride it almost every day and its really a great ride, and last winter I bumped into the back of the bike when it was super cold and cracked a little piece off the back corner (see pic) and glued it back. The saddlebags are included as well as the phone mount and charging/power cord so you can charge your phone while you navigate... These bikes are quirky, they are called "oilheads" and its always good to read up on these interesting and durable (150K+) bikes...
