SHOVELHEAD FLHP ELECTRA GLIDE POLICE SPECIAL: PRICE REDUCED This is a Vintage HEAD TURNING trophy winner.. The title is free and clear. This is a rare Harley Davidson w/Original Shovelhead engine good condition. It has been bobbed. This is one of only 334 in produced by Harley Davidson for this year which makes it pretty rare. It has beautiful patina and shows well. It comes with a mustang solo and a mustang dual seats, detachable windshield, removable hard bags, & sissy bar. It has crash bars with forward pegs, floor boards and custom under tank L.E.D. lighting that can be programmed to blink or change through several colors. It can be configured many ways depending on how you wish to ride it. Brand new set of shinko old school double white walls. I will also be providing some parts including a spare rear fender, front fender, a spare chrome spoke wheel with. It is equipped with free floating front disc single piston brakes and the rear brakes are disc as well. It has the well known four speed rachet top gearbox and the factory installed ELECTRIC START which is even more rare for this model. It has chrome tombstone rear lights, chrome tunnel ram air-cooler for rear cylinder, chrome front brake caliper cover, twin true Fishtail exhaust and a S&S Super G performance tuned carburetor. I and the previous owner are both Marines and collectively have put a great deal of love into this motorcycle. As mentioned this bike is a POLICE EDITION. It was sold from Harley Davidson to the Baltimore police department in 1983 and sold at auction after several years of service. The bike was gone through and restored by the second owner. This bike has less than 100 miles since its last service including hot plug wires (red), new plugs, and the primary, engine and gear box have been flushed and filled with synthetic oils. It is currently available for Historic Antique Registration in NJ. This bike does have a couple leaks as it is a SHOVELHEAD and it will mark its spot. The custom paint was done in 2009 and is charcoal with silver flames a red period appropriate vinyl lettering with black outline. The paint is showing some wear with nicks and chips hear and there. The motorcycle cranks and runs well as it should. The four speed transmission shifts properly. The baffles are removable. It comes with toggle-on-off four ways and toggle-on-off triple tree lights. I attempted to be as thorough as possible for those wishing to purchase. The bottom line is this is one sharp bike that get looks everywhere it goes. The fishtail pipes sound fantastic in true Harley fashion. With the baffles out it will wake the dead. There is not another one like it. 2016 Yamaha Yz 250F, Selling my practically new 2016 YZ250F (made the switch to a 2 stroke full time), vet/military/mechanic owned. Meticulously maintained, was properly heat cycled, oil changed w/filter and full synthetic AMSOIL after last ride (only has 3 rides on it/5.59 hours total), as well as air filter cleaned every ride with NoToil Filter oil. Bike was washed gently with Shout (simple green is bad!) every ride. The bike has 5.59 hours with weekend warrior, was not raced, only 2 months old. Will come with extra plastics, factory parts including suspension components (springs, shims), handlebars, etc. I am not desperate to sell, and take care of my bikes, valves in spec, etc, its a new bike.
