2005 Silver K1200S (non ESA, non ABS) - 2nd Owner - I purchased it in February 2016 with 12,300 miles. It was stock (except for raised Verholen bars and the required extended brake line "OEM equipment included") with all service bulletins completed. The original owner was extremely meticulous and sold it because of age and he moved on to a k1600.If you do not already know, this bike is a very fast (170HP+) "Hyper" Sport Tourer. This bike is better and more reliable then when it rolled off the assembly line in 1982. I have been racing and wrenching on motocross bikes since 1970. I am a professional mechanic and have totally restored this bike. There is no way i can list everything I did but I will try. First the new, connecting rod,crank bearings,piston,exhaust pipe,plastic,seat cover and foam,handlebars,grips and levers,all cables,suspension bearings,shock and fork seals,shock bumper,air filter,tires and spokes,chain and sprockets, all engine seals and bearings,brake pads. Now custom made parts,one piece top clamp,oversized pegs and custom routed water hoses. I have pictures of rebuild so if i missed anything I'm sure I have it on my rebuild pictures. I have only rode down the street to verify tranny and engine performance which was flawless.
