2005 Yamaha FJR 1300 Sport Tourer. 145 hp Super Sport Touring bike. 49,000 miles, always covered, Michelin Pilot Road 4 tires with less than 1000 miles on them. Bar risers for a comfortable, upright riding position. Lockable, removable hard bags that can contain a full face helmet in each bag. For those not familiar with this model, it has a 1300cc in-line four cylinder, water cooled engine with a shaft drive and triple disc brakes from the R1. This bike is comfortable and fast, but consistently gets 45mpg, ON 87 OCTANE GASOLINE!!! That's right, no need to buy premium gas for this model. 145 hp on regular gas will save you a ton of money every year. It is the ultimate commuter or cross country tourer. This is a clean motorcycle with relatively low miles for a 12 year old bike. It's clean, but not perfect. There is a small scrape on the left hand engine cover from a low speed lay-down and a couple of minor scratches on the right fairing from an incident where my BMW was blown over into the FJR. The price reflects these minor damages. The current NADA retail value on it is $3850, but I'll let it go to a new home for $3500. Fresh oil change with full synthetic, as its always had. 2002 Suzuki SV650S. Extremely low miles for a 15 year bike. This model is very well sought after as an entry to mid level track bike. It is a nimble, light weight bike equipped with a water-cooled V-twin engine, 6 speed gear box, and triple disc brakes. 2002 was the last year of the of the carburetor fed fuel system, making tuning easy. The only mod is the addition of an "M4" exhaust can. It is also equipped with two nearly new Michelin Pilot Road 4's. This bike has had a low side slide on the left side, before I owned it. The damage is minor and basically paint work on the left lower and upper fairing. None of this will matter if you plan on using it as a track bike. The low mileage and overall solid mechanical condition is what makes this bike such a great find. You will be hard pressed to find one with miles this low and in the condition this one is. Being an "S" model also makes it a great track bike. For those not familiar, the S model comes with a partial fairing and clip-on style bars, both of which make it better suited for the speeds found on race tracks. I was going to use it as a track bike myself, but won't have the time for track days, after all. I'm willing to let her go to a new home for $2000.
