Listing my trusty 1200 Sport. Fabulous looking and all Italian. If you don't know Guzzis, this is a shaft drive, 2valve, pushrod twin that produces plenty of torque and is not highly stressed. The engine and final drive have an excellent reputation for reliability and are great for touring. The bike is very planted on the highway. The sport model was only in this country for a year. It has upgraded, adjustable suspension and is not the same animal as a Breva 1100. Back to my bike. I've gone through everything on the machine and sorted out little niggles that are common to the marque. I can go through the list with you- but trust me- you will be saved some headaches. The bike has some really nice and useful upgrades: Hepco Becker bags, Mistral carbon exhaust, Hepco Becker crash bars, SW Motech tank bag ring, Power Commander module, Aprilia Mana bars, Mike Bui billet risers, Sargent seat, and probably some more. Off the top of my head- this is $2,700 in gear. Ginger runs great and will be a willing steed. Super comfortable at speed. Smashing looks, and not the same old thing compared to other bikes. This bike has only 2070 miles on it and is in like new condition. It has never been down and there is not a mark on it. There is a clear Mass title in my name. It is stock except for the addition of a rear fender eliminator and case guards. The first service was performed by the dealer at 600 miles. The warranty is effective through the end of 2015. I was influenced to buy this bike by a test article in the December 2014 issue of Cycle World. The article compared 4 similar bikes ( Griso, Honda CB1100, BMW R9T, Indian Scout) and the Griso was the clear winner. The Griso has lived up to everything described in the tests. I hate to sell it but I have come to realize that at 73 I no longer have the eyesight and reflexes needed to really appreciate its performance capabilities. So rather than putt along on this thoroughbred like an old man, I'll sell it. By buying this bike at my price the buyer would realize a savings of about $5000 compared with buying brand new and end up with a bike that is the same thing but for the break-in miles. My calculation for that $5000 figure takes into account retail price, dealer freight and prep, the accessories, and the lower sales tax. I will cooperate as best I can with shipping arrangements but the buyer is responsible for those arrangements. A $500 non refundable deposit is required at auction's end and the balance must be paid within 7 days. Pick up is at the owner's convenience but it must be in a reasonable time frame.
