Up for sale is my beautifully restored 1975 Moto Guzzi Eldorado Police bike. This is one of the very last Loop Frame bikes ever built - matching frame and engine number VP063062. This thing is absolutely perfect! It is the nicest loop frame in the world. I just finished a complete restoration using the best of everything along with a lot of extra bling. Some highlights include: - 955cc Big Bore Kit, High Performance Cam, Restored Original Friction Siren, and Brand New Reproduction Leather Saddle Bags, all from Moe at Cycle Gardens in Huntington Beach, CA. - The engine and transmission were completely rebuilt by Stormy Cycle in Albertville, MN. This included using Cycle Garden's big bore kit and high performance cam, rebuilding and balancing everything, rebuilding the heads, and inspecting and replacing all seals and gaskets. - All the chrome was stripped, show polished and then triple chrome plated by JR's Custom Plating in North Branch, MN. I chromed a lot of extra details and it all turned out beautiful! - The paint and bodywork was completed by Albertville Auto Body in Albertville, MN. The frame was powder coated before paint. The tins were painted then sent to Cycle Gardens for pin striping and silk screening then returned for clear coat over the striping. The paint job is just beautiful! - The fuel tank was cut apart, blasted, chromed, and then welded back together, painted, and the inside coated. The chrome and paint is just beautiful. You may have thought this bike sold, however I have been the victim of being sniped and bid up on three occasions. So now I am going with the fixed price option. Send me a message and we can discuss anything. Make me an offer, summer is almost here the weather is right. This is a Moto Guzzi 1973 Eldorado Police bike restored by Cycle Garden in 2008. Heated Storage and not ridden in rain. Regular service and fluids changed on annual basis. Stunning black with white pinstripe and logos. Matching frame & motor VIN056979. Motor has been bored out to 950cc, runs excellent only 10,400 miles since rebuild. Balanced wheels, double shoe brakes in the front and single shoe brakes in back, fully restored front end, and restored carburetors with cylinder air cleaners, all installed by Cycle Garden in Sept. 2008. Dry motor, no leaks. 2014 upgrades include - New rear shocks (I needed Firmer Rear shocks because of my size and wanting to carry a passenger), New Gilardoni Cylinders, New front and rear brake shoes fully adjusted for great stopping with drum brakes. All electrical works. Has the cycle garden reproduction Eldorado solo seat with a bolt on rear pillion seat. Original restored B&M Friction siren with lever mounted near clutch lever. Custom leather saddle bags, plenty of room for extra riding gear and a few groceries. Black powder coated handlebars. Black ceramic coated exhaust pipes. Polished Police instrument panel. Polished cylinder heads, polished front drum break covers, polished rear wheel drive box, and polished timing cover. Oil Filler Plug, Gear Box Filler Plug, Rear wheel Drive box filler plug are all polished brass. Left Rear pipe has very minor scratches(3 X 0.5 inch) and solo springer police seat has very minor tear on piping wrap not on seat itself(0.25 inch)(See Pictures). It has been serviced regularly by a reputable Moto Guzzi mechanic in Chicago. Heated Storage and not ridden in rain. Very roadworthy and Handles very well. Save a ton of money on a full restoration project!!! Has current Illinois title in my name. So easy to Export! I can deliver to Chicago land shipping/O'hare International Airport area for free.
