The red Norge has ABS brakes, heated hand-grips, saddlebags and is wonderful travelling bike. We have been all over N. America on it! I’ve added a Throttlemeister cruise control ($143) and a GIVI mounting rack for a top box ($100) (the top GIVI box in the pics below stays with me---it’s been all over N. America & Europe with us so we’re going to keep it for sentimental reasons---you can always get another top box…). I’ve also added the European oil check/fill assembly ($110) (no more disassembling the lower bodywork just to check the oil level!), bunjie hooks on the saddlebags ($25) and a tank protector. ($15) I’ll also include a GIANT tank bag, too. ($125) I spent $133 having a 3rd key cut---if I had known how much it was going to be, I probably wouldn’t have ordered the key blank… I’ve replaced the anemic, pipsqueaker horn with a much better one from Fiamm. ($20) Other features include---electrically adjustable windshield height, good tires (about ½ of their life still left on them), the factory shop manual in paper (about $100) & in .pdf format, extra headlight bulb and some other odds & ends. Battery Tender pigtail ($10); spare spark plugs ($90!!!) spare centerstand spring ($15) I also have an electronic copy of the Moto Guzzi Norge Service Manual which I emailed to myself so that it’s always with me on my travels. Have never needed it! SW-Moteck tank bag mounting ring ($70) Altogether almost $1,000 in extras. The bike is shaft drive and very comfortable---we did multiple 2-up 700+ mile days. Maintained religiously & I only used top-quality synthetic fluids & Guzzi filters. The bike is almost flawless---looks almost showroom new. ---but it’s been on some dirt roads so there’s a little bit of grime tucked-away in the impossible to reach nooks, crannies & crevices. There is one small imperfection in the paint on the left saddlebag. The bike only has 29,606 miles on it as of today (3/17/2017)---which is barely broken in for a big-block Guzzi! (Service done at 25,530 miles---Guzzi OEM oil filter plus synthetic oil). The prior service included synthetic oil & Guzzi OEM filter plus all of the following: synthetic gear oil in the differential & transmission, new spark plugs, adjusted the valve clearances & installed new valve cover gaskets, checked brake pads. All 3 magnetic drain plugs were clean.) Oil (Mobil 1 4T full synthetic) and Guzzi filter changed at 23,221 before the New England ride and again at 25,530 miles. I use only Guzzi filters & premium synthetic oil. Installed 2 new Dunlop “Road-Smart” radials at 19,895 miles. They are almost done---but I still have a set of Metzelers that still have plenty of tread on them that go with the bike. They only have 4,122 miles on them. (Removed prior to western USA ride)It’s a great deal---asking $5,995 (These bikes are about $16,000 new!)

For the first time the Racer will be produced with a satin finished tank, the black/metallic grey paints are matched at an angle emphasized by a red line that is virtually a continuation of the distinctive V7 Racer red frame. In search for a more understated look the 7 has been eliminated from the number plates which now have a satin finish like the mudguards. The total-black look on the side panels, mirrors, silencer brackets and footpeg guards, first introduced on MY15. The tank belt and saddle are black, padding has been added to the seat to improve comfort, red stitching with and embroidered Moto Guzzi eagle completes the retro style. The new V7 II range, raises the bar in terms of safety and standard equipment and riding comfort. The V7 II Scambler brings back a look that since the 70s is synonymous with freedom. The 2-in-1 high mounted arrow exhaust is a work of art with its ingenious architecture that is best combined with the two-tone essetre graphics inspired by the famous 1975 V750 S3. V7 II is now safer thanks to the standard dual channel Continental ABS system and traction control (Moto Guzzi Controllo Trazione) and more enjoyable to ride thanks to a new 6 speed gearbox. The revised engine position and improved ergonomics have greatly enhanced riding comfort. Seat is now lower at 31.1 inches - 790 mm as opposed to the previous 31.6 in - 805mm, also the footpegs have been lowered to make room for taller riders. The new riding position lets the rider enjoy the full benefits of the changes that have been made to the chassis which have made the front end more precise and efficient. All these improvements contribute to fully meet expectations in terms of aesthetics and riding pleasure. The exclusive V7 II Scrambler is based on V7 II Special with its new graphics, spoked wheels and attention to detail to deliver a classic and timeless style for an identity that is in perfect sync with the scrambler spirit. The new Azzurro Essetre and Rosso Essetre color schemes inspired by 70s are complemented by the contrast with new V7 II frame welding where brighter and deeper paint has been applied to enhance the ingenious architecture. The rest of the bike is the perfect combination between caromed and blacked out parts, now also extended to the tail light assembly and the new brake and clutch levers. The final touch are the hand satin aluminum number plates, machined to perfection adding to the distinctly scrambler look.
