This 75° V-twin 1195cc displacement motorcycle produces 170hp and 90.7 lb-ft of torque and delivers this smooth, linear power even under extreme acceleration. The camshafts feature adjustable valve timing for racing modifications and tuning potential. The RC8 R has a brand new gearbox for significantly faster, smoother and easier gear changes. The RC8 R spec chassis stands out with its super light orange powder coated chromoly trellis style frame that uses the engine as a stressed member. The chassis is supported on the front with 43mm USD WP forks that are fully adjustable with TiAIN coated inner tubes for reduced stiction. The black swing arm and subframe are supported with the WP fully adjustable race spec rear shock that also features TiAIN coating on the shock rod. The rear ride height is easily changed with up to 12mm adjustment. The RC8 R features industry leading Brembo monobloc radially mounted front brakes and superlight 17 Marchesini forged front and rear wheels equipped with super-sporty Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP lightweight tires. Further chassis highlights include: a reinforced stainless steel underfloor silencer with heat-coated header pipe, ultra-light carbon front fender and a CNC machined top triple clamp saves weight and adds to this bikes top level appearance. This bike is adjustable in many ways starting with two different handlebar and foot peg settings, adjustable rear subframe which allows seat height adjustments from 805mm to 825mm, 12mm of rear shock linkage adjustments (ride height), plus clutch, brake, rear brake pedal and shifter lever and linkage adjustability.
