2003 Kawasaki VN800 Vulcan Drifter, Custom bike!!! 2003 Kawasaki 800 Vulcan Drifter is a 1940s-styled cruiser based on the lines of the circa 1940 Indian Chief produced by the Indian Motorcycle Company. I have shown a couple of pictures with the Drifter next to a 1946 Indian Chief, they look a lot alike!!!The Drifter 800 is powered by a modern, carburated, single overhead cam, single pin, liquid cooled 805 cc 55-degree V-Twin engine. The twin cylinders have 'cooling fins', but they are almost entirely for show, It's water cooled!!!The Drifter has a hidden rear mono-shock to make it appear to be a hard tail, just like the bikes from days past. The front and rear fenders cover about half of the respective wheel, and are the most striking visual cue. It also has a super comfortable solo seat. The solo saddle is nice and low, allowing the rider to comfortably plant both feet on the ground at stops. Wide floorboards allow for a relaxed sitting position, a heel-toe shifter makes changing gears in the five-speed transmission a snap, and self-canceling turn signals add to rider convenience.Tthe generous use of chrome on the engine covers, bullet-shaped headlight shell, fork and shock covers, handlebar and clamp, rear fender rail, and license-plate bracket enhance the custom look. Check out the large headlight, not stock, It looks great!!! This one has an aftermarket exhaust system that looks retro, Nice touch, WOW It sounds great!!!! It has brown saddle bags on it that fit the part. We are the Quad Cities Indian dealer. We do have the new Indians in stock, this one is about 1/4 the cost of a new Indian Chief. It is worth a look!!! It is sure to turn heads on every ride!!! It is in excellent condition, has been fully serviced and is ready to ride.
