Recent update to this post. I downed the bike gently on some ice and bent the right handlebar a little and broke a mirror off. I have clip ons I've been meaning to install anyway so I'll do that soon. Otherwise I'll sell with it how it is for pretty cheap. Looking to sell my 1999 Ninja 250. Bike has around 6k miles and is amazing condition, has many upgrades making it very custom but still an amazing beginner/commuting/just super fun little bike. Basically removed the front and rear fairing as well as parts of the sides to give it a sleek cafe racer look. Had a recent tuneup including carb rebuild and resync done by Bikeworx in Hudson. Some upgrades are - Trail Tech Vapor and dashboard speedo/instruments - multi color/setting underglow - aftermarket tail light with integrated blinkers - strip blinkers on rear as well to keep it street legal - 7" headlight and blinkers - mirrors with built in blinkers on both sides - phone charger - Yoshimura slip on exhaust - probably some stuff i can't remember right now With all the upgrades and changes to the bike it's about 300 lbs WET.
