1976 Kawasaki KZ900 Z1. It runs great, has new tires, rear spokes and both sprockets. Battery less than a year old. 4 into 2 exhaust and K&N air filter stacks. I have the original airbox but it needs intake boots which are sill available aftermarket, also have a handful of other extra various parts.
1976 KZ Z1 900 Bike was completely rebuilt 2 years ago, head to toe, motor punched out to 1025 cc, Mikuni carbs 32mm, race pipe, fresh gas tank, all new wiring, electronic gauges, lED tail light & head light, extended modern swing arm, frame powder coated, racing stripes, powder coated mags, brand new tires,I don't need to sell this bike, I just don't ride any more.

Classic '76 KZ900. Runs great, bike and tires are in good condition, starts right up and idles well. Owned and garage kept for 13 years, just no time to ride the bike. All original except for exhaust and hand grips. Only 13,500 miles on original engine. Title in hand.
I owned this bike since ~1977. I am the 2nd owner. It never been stored outside although I have riden it cross coutry several times. The bike is titled 1977 because it was sold new to the first owner in 1977. It is one of several hundred 1977 KZ900's made by Kawasaki using leftover parts from the 1976 model year. It is my understanding that Kawasaki increased the displacement to 1000 CC in 1977. The bike has 73K mile and it titled in PA as an antique motorcycle. I have installed a Dyna S electronic ignition system to replace the original points and rotor. I also repleced the original 4 X 4 exhaust with 4 into 1 Kerker system. The seat is an LTD model step seat rather than the original flat seat. It also has a luggage rack over the rear fender. I have the original grab bar for the back the was taken off when the luggage rack was installed by the previous owner. The top of the engine has never been open. I did replace the oil pump a long time ago. There is a small dent with a paint chip in the tank. Also the right side cover is not original. Other than that Its all original. It does not use any oil and usually starts with one or two attempts. I have kept it running every year trying to put at least 1000 mi on it each year. Its time to go.
Beautiful brand new concourse restoration. This 1976 KZ900 is a numbers matching bike. It has been stored in a climate controlled warehouse. It has been started regularly. I am sorry to see it go, but I have an itch for new toys, so I need to cull my collection a bit .(I have many other bikes as well if interested)
Original owner selling 1976 Kawasaki KZ900. Restored to original except for LTD seat and Kerker exhaust. New items include: Front and rear tires, drive chain, front and rear sprockets and air filter. I bought this bike, running, but in very sorry shape as a project a bit over a year ago. Since then i have been working on it, completely disassembled, frame powder coated and then put it together piece by piece, with each piece either cleaned up or replaced. Body parts were shipped to Japan for painting in original Kawasaki green. New aftermarket 4 into 4 from Japan. New tires, rims, spokes, all bearings (steering, swing arm, wheels), brake pads, controls & switches, instruments, seat, grab bar, battery, shocks, blinkers, and many many little things. Engine is original with 31k miles on it (Z1E137669), i replaced all gaskets, seals and O-rings, valve seals, and the roller for the top of the timing chain. I replaced the carbs with a set of used ones as i was not able to make them run, the original set comes with the bike. DMV no-op. Bike starts right up, i have been riding it up and down the street here. Probably needs a bit of carb fine-tuning after its been out on the street. I have a lot of money in this bike but it needs to go to make room for a cruiser. Thanks for looking!
