1978 Kawasaki Kz 1000, Vintage, Very good condition. Original owner. Bike has never left Lemont, Illinois. 100% original parts and paint, except for seat, muffler and filters. After the first thousand miles I had Kawasaki dealer ship install step up seat with chrome sissy bar, Kerker headers, jetted and synchronized carbs and added K & N filters to make it the muscle machine of its time. This is meticulously maintained/serviced and stored indoors only, with cover. Runs like new. It just had a tuneup with new plugs, coils, wires and caps, Fuel lines, battery, oil and filter. Carbs were ultrasonic cleaned lubed and synchronized. Last year both front and rear master,cylinder's, Break line, calipers were reconditioned and synthetic brake fluid was used. Comes with original tool-kit and owners manual in the tail cowl tray. The chrome and paint Have some blemishes but are in really nice condition for being 36 years old. The gas tank does have one small dent. You will not find a better looking original KZ 1000 in the US with 5500 original miles. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and cost.
