Best of all, a dual-purpose bike gives the rider the ability to simply ride from the garage to explore quiet dirt roads and out-of-the-way places, which is why the Kawasaki KLR250 is so much fun. The KLR250 is powered by a four-stroke, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine with dual overhead cams operating four valves for superior performance. Double engine counterbalancers keep the powerplant running smooth from idle to redline, and an automatic cam chain tensioner helps maintain more precise cam timing without maintenance. The frame for the KLR250 is made of the same high-tech, high-tensile steel used in Kawasaki's world-class KX motocross machines. A detachable, lightweight aluminum rear subframe simplifies maintenance by providing access to the airbox, carburetor and rear shock. The KLR250 features an air adjustable front fork and Kawasaki's UNI-TRAK® rear suspension, providing more than nine inches of travel at both ends to smooth the ride. The latter features adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. Helping to maintain good traction on pavement or dirt roads, the KLR250's wheels are shod with universal tires, while a single front disc brake and rear drum brake help to ensure smooth, powerful stops.

Great 1997 KLR 250 dual sport bike. Great shape and always kept in the garage. It has approximately 10,850 miles and has a kick starter. This is good trail bike as well as around town. Gets great gas mileage - approximately 70 mpg - with a 2.9 gallon tank. Contact me for additional information.

This bike was owned by a friend of mine, he was riding it around Wisconsin 8 years ago. it don't run because since he moved it Florida it just sat, needs cleaned up. It needs a lot of attention cosmetically but should be a cheap simple project bike. No title.

2005 KLR 250 dual sport/ enduro in good condition. 4900 miles. Bike starts and runs well. Bike has new tires, chain, battery, grips and handle bars. Carburetor was cleaned recently. Plastics are in good condition with some scratches. This bike gets 70 MPG and gets you from here to there whether it is to the local store or cruising single track trails. It has been a great bike for me! And, it is easy to ride!

2000 KAWASAKI KLR250, DUAL PURPOSE RUNS OUT GOOD WITH ONLY 1023 MILES ON IT!!! Bike is in good condition, but the plastic is faded from sitting out, tank is really nice.

3,100 miles, new tires, rebuilt front fork, new timing chain, new battery, carburetor just rebuilt. This bike runs like a top. Drive it on the street or on the trail. This is a great little bike for camping, pit bike, adult moped, and training bike for motorcycle test. Itâ€™s so easy to ride.

2003 Kawasaki Klr 250, 2003 KLR 250 with 6,200 mile. The cycle is in great shape and runs excellent. I purchased this bike in August from a owner in Kansas who took great care of it. This is my first dual purpose bike and while it runs excellent, it really is not want I am looking for. Basically it is too nice, I want an older 2 cycle dirt bike but thought I would try this one. I have been riding it back an forth to work a few miles from home and if you want a dual purpose bike this one is great. I took it camping in September once and it performed very nice on the trails and at high altitude. It has new tires, larger skid plate, new fender, custom turn signels that are smaller then the original so they do not stick out as much. The original owner rode it on the farm and gravel road so that is why he placed these new parts on it as the gravel road tends to toss up small pebbles I have already licensed it in Colorado and have the title in hand.
