Very nice and almost completely original 1975 Husqvarna WR400. I'm not the original owner but the previous owner said it has not been used since 1981. Starts, runs and rides excellent. Tickle the Bing carb and it starts right up. Stored inside so it is not rusted or weathered. The tank is clean inside and the carb is clean. I believe it has the original Barum tires, the rear had a slow leak so I installed a new tube and found the red Barum tube inside. The tires are not dry rotted. The rear fender says "Preston Petty" on it, the front has no marking. The air filter is similar to a K&N pleated element. I changed the transmission oil and installed a new fuel line. The fork seals are weeping oil.The mileage is unknown so to complete the ebay listing I put in 999. The tank does not appear to have been repainted and has a few small scratches and very small dings in the chrome that will not show up in the pictures. The lights do not work. Please note the bike is being sold as is so please ask questions. Has clear title, not an off road title so it probably can be plated for the road. I can not quote or provide shipping, I will store the bike for a reasonable amount of time till shipping is arranged and will help load the bike. I can not build shipping crates.

If your looking at this auction, you realize how rare these bikes are!This 1974 HUSQVARNA 400 is Ready to be restored and added to your collection! This bike runs and shifts fine! It has good compression and decent tyres. (may need the carb cleaned? its been sittting for awhile now)No major rust, no flatspots or bent rims newer seat cover. It has a desert tank on it but I have the stock red "bubble tank", the paint is peeling but no dents in it.This is a good solid bike, with some TLC it will make a Nice vintage racer!
