If you are in the market for a Valkyrie, this is the one you want. Starts, runs, rides, stops, steers, rides perfectly. Minus the heft of the Gold Wing's bodywork, the Valkyrie is a surprisingly fast machine - 1.5 liters, 6 cylinders, no waiting! Suffice it to say your friends on v twin powered machines will get many opportunities to examine your tail light. Here is why you want this one: All the money and time you would spend adding accessories and improving function of a stock bike has already been done here. Below is a list of what this bike includes: - K&N air filter installed- All vacuum/fuel lines, carb seals and O-rings changed to a UV and ethanol resistant material from Redeye Tech Services - A quick disconnect main fuel line has been installed to ease tank removal- Baloney-cut tips on the exhaust- Race Tech Gold Valve kit installed in front forks - Urethane rear shock bushings installed.- Rivco driving lights- Toggle switch for driving lights (on or off) added to back of headlight housing- Headlight power re-wired to remove current draw from running through the starter switch (common Honda design flaw – eats starter switches).- USB port added – located on handlebars with water resistant cover. It is turned off or on by a switch to the right of the seat lock. If the red LED on the switch is on, the port is active. THIS IS AN AUCTION FOR A 1997 HONDA VALKYRIE. THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR THE VALKYRIE WAS MADE AND THESE WERE THE FASTEST OF THE VALKYRIES.THIS VALKYRIE HAS ONLY 6,077 ACTUAL MILES. THE CARBURETORS HAVE BEEN CLEANED. THE BIKE RUNS, SHIFTS AND OPERATES PERFECTLY. THE TIRES ARE DUNLOP E3 FRONT AND BACK AND SHOW ABOUT 75 PERCENT TREAD LEFT. IT HAS ORIGINAL SEATS AND THEY ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. I DID NOT NOTICE IT, BUT IT HAS ONE TOURER AND ONE INTERSTATE SADDLEBAG. BOTH OPEN LIKE A TOURER AND THE SAME IGNITION KEY WORKS WITH BOTH. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE TOURER HAS A SEAM DOWN THE REAR AND THE INTERSTATE DOES NOT. LOOK AT THE PICTURES. THIS IS A NICE 1997 VALKYRIE(MFG 10-96). IT HAS NEVER SET OUT....ALWAYS KEPT INSIDE.
