Mostly stock, but previous seller did some mods to it. He changed the exhaust pipe but I have the original and can include it in the sale of the bike. I've not had it too long, I really need the money from sale is the only reason I am letting go of it, otherwise would love to keep it. It has the street worthy tires on it, in good shape. Everything works on the bike, it has electric start of course no kick start on it. It has a few small dings on gas tank, and marks but nothing major. The only real negative on the bike I know of is that is has some hesitation at low RPM sometimes, I think it may need new plugs, I don't know when they have been changed on it. I am not a bike mechanic so I have not checked anything else technical on it, if you are a gear head of sorts I am sure you know more than I about how to work on bikes. But it does run great and the pipe on it has a great sound, not too loud though.   Buyer is resposible for all shipping, this is local pickup only. If a shipper is hired, seller is only available to let them in the garage to pack/crate it, and is not resposible for any packing. The bike has the normal DR that everyone discusses at length on a the message boards--- surging in the midrange from being the factory lean settings. I think the carb pilot jet needs a cleaning and the stock tiny inline fuel filter needs replaced.It has some sputtering but I have not ridden a DR650 much and the people that own these aircooled bikes know what is normal and is not.I am used to 2 strokes. The other flaw is there is some very very very minor orange/red paint overspray spots that was on the bike when the previous owner had the bike.It had to be in his garage and got on the bike somehow.You cannot see the spots unless you are really looking close at them and I mean close,they are almost unnoticeable.And they flick right off when you wipe them E-mail any questions...

This is an awesome bike! I'm selling because I'm going back to a 2 stroke. I have had a lot of fun with this one on Jeep trails and tight woods but decided I don't really need a 100 MPH dirt bike. It is loaded with extras and the $7000 is the minimum price. I would really like to have 9 grand but I realize that it's not a reasonable price for a used 2011 bike. It sold for $8700 plus tax and tags and almost $11000 invested total. Almost every tank of gas has been non ethanol with Blendzall Fuel Oil top end lubricator mixed in for added protection. The radiator has been ran with Engine Ice, synthetic Motul oil changed every 1000 miles and has a Shorai lithium battery in it. It has a FMF Power Core muffler with header wrap and heat shields added. Pirelli knobbies that are in good shape, the back one is almost new. The biggest feature is that I had it professionally lowered 2" front and back to make it more manageable to ride by Steve Litz at litzracing.com. in Blountville TN. That made a huge difference with the bike and cost a well spent $600. It has several Touratech parts, skid plate, luggage rack, heat shields and 1" handle bar risers. This has the BMW red hear racing motor with the power up kit added. It looks and runs great and all the LED lighting looks really cool. This would make a killer motard if that is you cup of tea!

Some normal wear(small scratches) and tear but nothing major or that you could see from 6 ft away. Best of both worlds, on road and off road. Good condition. Some general wear and tear items (small scratches, dark mark on right side of the tank, about 1.5 inch by .5 inch. Haven't tried to get it off yet but may buff out.
